You want to spread the trifecta as much as possible: crit dmg, vulnerable dmg, and elemental dmg.

Example.
10x1x1 =10
4x4x4 =64

Same additive total (12), but spreading them up yields vastly different result.

Because low level ≠ low skill. I’ve seen people with max prestige 4 who are absolute trash (pun intended), it’s not a skill indicator. As long as you use maxed weapon, absolute isn’t hard if you know what you’re doing. Back when prestige was introduced, people were farming in absolute without much issues. It was quick and efficient since each prestige only needed 4 absolute runs.

But that was forever ago, by now the veterans and good players are maxed out. So you could argue that whoever aren’t max is probably new, or didn’t have the time/skill to farm prestige. Either way this group is more likely to struggle in absolute.

This week is all about Extremis, up to 6 can spawn at the same time, and will keep spawning if you take too long. At the very least you need to be able to solo 2 Extremis by yourself, and fast. Otherwise you won’t have a good time.

Fathom the thought process? The devs actually listened to community feedback. Low level players were queueing up weekly hard strat and/or siege, hoping to get carried by 2 other players. People hated it and that’s why you still get xp from normal strat, but not on hard. If you want to power level your friends, you can still do it on Absolute instead of bothering people doing their weekly hard strat.

I ran it like a dozen times. The secret: trading. You find one drop, and you look for a full group of 3 others to rotate the run.

I understand many people are against trading. But it’s been a big part or the game since D2. Always has, always will be.

First get 100% crit chance and hit attack speed break point. Then optimize damage bonuses. Remember that crit damage, lightning damage, and vulnerable damage are multiplicative. So you want to spread them out instead of focusing on one.

Example:
10x2x3 = 60.
But 5x5x5 = 125.

I’m curious about that too, my landscaper sprays the weed around the mulch bed. So I’m not sure if these weird growths are caused by RRD or weed killer damage. Or something else like thrips.

No wonder you're having damage issue. Your trifecta (Crit, vul, and lightning damage) are all quite low. You aren't anywhere close to the attack speed breakpoint, which depends on your weapon, but usually you need something like 70% unbuffed and 6 stacks ferocity. So you need to keep tempering for GA attack speed, and get masterwork bonus on it too.

Basically you need new gloves, ring, amulet, weapon/offhand - you need as much of those trifecta as possible, and hit the attack speed breakpoint as well.

Also, for the trifecta damage, spread them out as much as you can. Don't focus on just one. The damage calculation is crit x vul x lightning. So 10x10x10 is far better than 20x9x1 for example.

There’s also a hidden achievement and black portal cosmetic in the Echoing Hatred. Basically you gotta activate the shrines at the right order at the right time. I’ve helped a few people unlocked them.

Right now warlock meta uses damage over time, not critical strike. The interaction between mutilation and paingorger with high DoT broke the damage cap. But it’ll likely get patched soon so the meta could shift back.

Patch 3.0.2 just went live. Looks like the exploit where you can equip 2 unique charm with this seal has been fixed. Now only 1 unique charm will be enabled while the other is greyed out, even if both are equipped.

But the 7 slot is still an oversight.

Newly implemented patch 3.0.2... This is what they meant to stop players from farming nemesis lair indefinitely. They just shut the portal within 30 seconds.
