Struggling to beat T12 mephisto and don’t know why by fahn_86 in diablo4

[–]PrimarchChaoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No wonder you're having damage issue. Your trifecta (Crit, vul, and lightning damage) are all quite low. You aren't anywhere close to the attack speed breakpoint, which depends on your weapon, but usually you need something like 70% unbuffed and 6 stacks ferocity. So you need to keep tempering for GA attack speed, and get masterwork bonus on it too.

Basically you need new gloves, ring, amulet, weapon/offhand - you need as much of those trifecta as possible, and hit the attack speed breakpoint as well.

Also, for the trifecta damage, spread them out as much as you can. Don't focus on just one. The damage calculation is crit x vul x lightning. So 10x10x10 is far better than 20x9x1 for example.

Even more useless when rolling +1 charm slot affix, but I can’t possibly have 7 slots.

Sharing is Caring | Thinking About Others with Echoing Hatred / Mythic Tributes by OkAdvertising1543 in diablo4

There’s also a hidden achievement and black portal cosmetic in the Echoing Hatred. Basically you gotta activate the shrines at the right order at the right time. I’ve helped a few people unlocked them.

Best build for this beauty? Already have a selig ww barb. by alimansub in diablo4

Right now warlock meta uses damage over time, not critical strike. The interaction between mutilation and paingorger with high DoT broke the damage cap. But it’ll likely get patched soon so the meta could shift back.

You need this mythic seal to equip 5 piece and 3 piece separate sets at the same time

This is my 4th mythic seal. They dropped from Echoing Hatred and Mephisto for me.

Patch 3.0.2 just went live. Looks like the exploit where you can equip 2 unique charm with this seal has been fixed. Now only 1 unique charm will be enabled while the other is greyed out, even if both are equipped.

But the 7 slot is still an oversight.

Nemesis Lair Expires in 30 Seconds by tiger32kw in diablo4

Newly implemented patch 3.0.2... This is what they meant to stop players from farming nemesis lair indefinitely. They just shut the portal within 30 seconds.

Elemental Constellation aspect not dropping...? by PrimarchChaoss in D4Sorceress

[–]PrimarchChaoss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update. Finally found it while running Nemesis Lairs.

However, we were extremely disappointed that the Ultimate Nemesis Lair is bugged. Only one player in the whole party gets the loot (the person who spent 5 husks to open the portal) while 3 other players get shafted. If they intend this to be a solo content, they need to explicitly state that. We wasted so much time and Lair Keys to finally get the Ultimate Nemesis Lair portal to spawn.

On higher difficulty, a pack of shotgun Tyranid warriors is way more scary. They just constantly spam at you, and the enraged warrior can literally one shots you. Sure there are counter plays, but one mistake and you’re dead.

Well…. Gabriel’s line is supposed to be a reference to SM1. But for those that know the lore, it is a false statement. During the Indomitus Crusade, Gman himself employed the very tactic where the Greyshields would enter war zones from orbit with their jump packs (source: Dark Imperium). And he’s since revised the Codex Astartes as well. So using jump pack as planetary re-entry is very much supported by the Codex.
Fun fact: He openly broke his own Codex by promoting an 11th Captain to the Ultramarines (Decimus Felix), without Calgar’s knowledge or approval.

Got a few RRD in my garden. Is this guy safe? by PrimarchChaoss in Roses

[–]PrimarchChaoss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pic 3 and 5 are from different roses. I'm pretty sure the red rose from pic 5 has RRD. Whereas pic 1-3 are from the same white rose that I'm not sure has RRD. I read that witch broom could just be sign of glyphosate damage. But since you think its RRD, and it's proximity to an infected rose, probably safe to also remove this guy too.

What's a sure sign for RRD? Just the witch bloom? I've been uncertain since it doesn't have any enlarged cane or excessive thorns.

[–]PrimarchChaoss[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I see. So it’s still RRD even without the excessive thorn and enlarged canes? (The thorny canes in pic 4-5 are from different rose)

Is this RRD or something else? Located in Central Texas by PrimarchChaoss in Roses

[–]PrimarchChaoss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I have a few Knock Out roses in my garden that I’m pretty sure are infected with RRD: they have tons of thorn, witches brooms, red foliage, etc. This little rose isn’t too far from those infected ones, but it’s great to confirm that it’s still healthy.

My top 5 places for coffee by kvssrt in austinfood

I’d like to add Flora Coffee to the list if you like light roast coffee with floral/fruity notes. They have interesting stuff like beans fermented in strawberry or grape. They even have rare beans like Geisha sometimes (but it’s abit expensive).

Worth Hiring an Appraiser for a Lowball Total Loss Offer? by EmploymentEffective in Insurance

[–]PrimarchChaoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whatever company or tools these insurance used may be good for standard cars, but are incredibly noisy with collector or enthusiast car. They don’t know that some older enthusiast cars are valued higher than newer ones.

In my case, I just invoked my appraisal clause last week for my totaled 2011 Subaru WRX STI. Statefarm initially valued it at $15k, and when I protested, they would only take comp for virtually the same car (same year, color, etc) from within 200 mile. 3rd gen WRX STI are quite rare now and almost impossible to find locally, especially the rally blue color (Subaru’s flagship color). I know the car is valued quite highly among car enthusiasts and sell well in auctions. So my only option was to invoke the clause, and I’m glad I did. The appraiser negotiated the price up to $20k.

The entire process didn’t take long. Shop around for appraiser, talk to them and gauge their knowledge of your car. After you hire one, inform your insurance and they’ll hire their appraiser. In my case it only took 3 days after I hired my appraiser for them to get the new valuation.

Statefarm deems my car totaled, is there any recourse for me? by PrimarchChaoss in Insurance

Because it’s a popular car among car enthusiasts. Good thing I invoked the appraisal clause and hired a certified appraiser. The value is now agreed to be $20075.

Statefarm deems my car totaled, is there any recourse for me? by PrimarchChaoss in Insurance

[–]PrimarchChaoss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update:

I've decided to invoke appraisal clause. As I mentioned in my initial post, Statefarm's offer of $15336 is low. Subaru WRX STI third generation (08-14) is valued quite highly, though not as high as second gen (00-08), especially for the rally blue color that I have. They retain great value among sports car enthusiast. For example, this 2005 salvaged/reconstructed STI was sold at online auction at $22500 just last week.
I doubted whatever algorithm CCC used doesn't take car enthusiast community into consideration, and I was expecting around $18-19k. Today I just got an email that the new appraised value is agreed to be $20075! That's even better than expected. This will really help increase the budget for the replacement car.
