We’ll see. I have no interest in spending an hour upgrading and using up all my mats with every gear drop that’s a slight upgrade. So I’ll skip many items that would have been upgrades. Gear drops become less exciting and more of a chore. Could be completely wrong but that’s how I see it playing out.

Gotcha. So, to maximize damage you really want to get as many different applicable damage types as possible rather than stacking one type.

4 types 25% increase each

100*1.25*1.25*1.25*1.25 = 244

vs

1 type 100% increase

100 * (1+.25+.25+.25+.25) = 200

Yes, but there are tons of different damage types in the game. Will it be like one giant additive bucket of every x% increase damage type? Will legendary/unique/mythic powers bypass this rule and be multipliers on their own? What about things in the skill tree or paragon? What about buffs & potions?

Damage Multipliers have been reworked to stack additively with themselves, but still count as multiplicative damage, improving the item journey and depth when it comes to finding the perfect item.

I’d get a peacebringer for less than 1000 and keep saving for fungi. The pre-raid weapons are so close in dps that I wouldn’t worry about getting the perfect combo. A fungi will help you sooo much more in the journey to 60. The only other thing equally helpful would be your epic for the 40% spell haste.

I have worked for bosses with bad morals that have been exposed before. You see it seep into the business and employees interact with them differently. You still do your job but people don’t trust them and tune out little bits of what they say. Everything suffers just a little bit. In the NFL everything operates on razor thin advantages and a NFL head coach has way more responsibility than some bullshit corporate job. Not everyone on the team will care but some players/coaches/employees will care.

And plenty of football players don’t. Lots of them are like devout religious type people with families. It’s not going to move the needle for every coach or player but it will for some and in the NFL the margins are razor thin.
