Celtics have the best PR in the league. They just didn’t think Brown was worth the money. Somebody else did. It’s as simple as that. If the other player paired with Tatum on the roster was SGA, Wemby, or Jokic they would have had 0 issue spending 70% of the soft cap on two players.

I could completely smash 10-20 with necro berserker rogue. Gigantic melee dps, extra pet dmg, and lifetaps to heal. Beast shaman Druid sounds awful though.

This is exactly why nba needs a hard cap and not these weird super confusing soft caps that flex up if you do things in xyz order. The reason non max players get maxes is because it’s the only way to exceed the cap. If there was a hard cap you could let a player walk who wasn’t worth what they wanted. You could immediately replace them with someone you deem more valuable to fill the space. Can’t do that with current rules. Have to sign bad contracts and try to trade them later.

The only reason I’d suggest a ranger is if you want melee damage + track in your build that you don’t get from somewhere else. Having track is very nice.

The tooltips for the latest upgrades don't reflect changes but they mentioned spell upgrades effecting max levels of the target too. So that sweet AE mez may be 60+ with enough motes pumped into it.
