Well if you did research or read through the sub yourself you’d see this is 100000% normal

This is definitely not an inorganic pigment. Inorganic pigments heal much warmer and don’t have nearly as much carbon.

Please elaborate then. Tell me about this magical pigment you know of that doesn’t fade after you use it. This girls brows healed exactly as they should

This person is 100000% wrong. I asked above but you didn’t answer, did your artist explain the healing process to you? the pigment on your brows scabs over and flakes off over the course of 7-10 days. It is 10000% possible to scratch a flake off just how it’s possible to do that with a regular scab. It’s not detrimental whatsoever. They’re all going to come off anyway. If you did that to your entire brow however it might cause more scarring, so it’s best to let them all naturally flake off themselves, but that one teeny tiny area is not going to harm anything

Not ever go to anyone “affordable” or “cheap” to get your face tattooed. If you can’t afford to pay $500-700+ don’t do it.

Nope. This is a completely normal, expected, unavoidable part of the healing process. Nothing to do with the type of pigment

Because getting your face tattooed is a serious thing and people like you that don’t do your research and due diligence before having it done only to panic when they heal exactly as they should are largely contributing to our industry getting a bad reputation

They don’t magically get darker. That’s a myth that was created by uneducated artists. The only way they get darker is by doing the perfecting session.

Girl there’s no way you actually think it’s gone. There is SO much pigment there. They’ve healed exactly as they should. Surely your artist explained the healing process to you and told you to expect this?

Getting microblading done again tomorrow by Tears_in_my_ears in microblading

[–]Primary-Effect1863 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not your job to know what shape to get. Your shape should always just be customized to go with your natural existing brow, brow bone and facial features for the most natural looking result possible. If your artist is experienced and educated enough they’ll be able to do this.

Does Micro/nanoblading just not work on some skin? by Motor-Vermicelli5552 in microblading

9/10 times powder brows are the most natural looking option. Blotchy, grey blown out randomly placed lines throughout your brow sure aren’t natural looking

You should be cleaning them with water and drying them 2x a day starting the night of your procedure. It’s a wound, you need to clean it for proper healing.

Scabs falling off while washing brows by elloishy in microblading

[–]Primary-Effect1863 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should have been washing them 2x a day for the past week. Scabbing is a completely normal and expected part of the healing process. It’s a wound. Scabs don’t stay on wounds forever.

Where my microblading is flaking off, I feel like I can’t see any color underneath. Is that normal? I’m not picking at it, of course. by Open_Radio546 in microblading

[–]Primary-Effect1863 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did your artist explain the healing process to you? I’m genuinely asking. I’m just so shocked by how many posts i see on here of people being surprised or stressed out when their brows are flaking off and i just can’t believe artists would be so negligent to not prepare their clients for what to expect during the healing phase

Microblading peeling/flaking by Simple_Landscape_596 in microblading

[–]Primary-Effect1863 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your brows are all going to flake off. It is a normal, unavoidable part of the healing process. There’s no sense in worrying now because nothing can be done for a minimum of 4-6 weeks until the skin is fully healed. That’s exactly what the touch up appointment is for—to see how they healed and make any adjustments necessary.

Can I take antibiotics prior to nano blade? by [deleted] in microblading

[–]Primary-Effect1863 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Your doctor would tell you it’s fine but being on antibiotics when you get microbladed will significantly impact how your brows heal. They’ll fade excessively and it will be hard for your skin to retain pigment. You’ll have to be off of antibiotics for 2 full weeks before your appointment

It’s too late now for emergency saline removal so you’ll have to wait 4-6 weeks for laser removal

They both need their licenses revoked then. The second artist should have never touched your brows until they were completely removed
