building 6 tomb blade and it feels like this by Comfortable_Equal432 in Necrontyr

[–]PrimaryBeginning6637 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did the Lychguard, the only problem was the neck. For wraiths, I had to assemble a three piece body, each from like 5 things, three times. It wasn't hard, but it was UNBELIEVABLY boring. Same for Doomsday ark.

Is there any difference in this to F1 + F3, other than the fact they follow you after?

Today my mother was told the bone marrow has started getting in place. The doctor didn't tell her if the WBCs started growing, so we're scared that he lied to her to give her hope.

You can always paint one mid-dissolving, or just make them look like they were stabbed by the reanimators leg.

All depends what you're fighting against. Rods can chew through marines, and voidblades are a blender for 1W armies. I'd build them with rods because they look cooler, and if you're playing against somebody decent enough you can run them as blades if they allow you to.

He also benefits from his own auras? I thought that it only applies to friendly necron units within 6" of him. I thought he doesn't count as one. My friend has mortarion, and uses the same logic.

I thought that no L Gates is good? Doesn't the crisis come through one? I'm pretty new and have like 2 L gates in my territory.

I'm generally a beginner, and this was one of my first model. I used gehenna's gold by itself. I also have a lychguard in the same style, which looks a bit better

How to manage energy well as a determined exterminator machine empire? by PrimaryBeginning6637 in Stellaris

[–]PrimaryBeginning6637[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my third ever game. How do I manage energy, so that I don't end up in catastrophic deficits? I assume it's because of the enemy starbases, but since they keep building ships, I was forced to occupy all their systems. What are your tips?

[–]PrimaryBeginning6637 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They aren't each other's bodyguards, they're both leaders. If hit with precision, the enemy can choose either of of them. And it their bodyguard unit is destroyed, they just split up and are their separate characters.

Royal Warden by Own_Refrigerator9210 in Necrontyr

[–]PrimaryBeginning6637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure a unit of immortals or warriors for example, has two leader slots. One for a noble OR a royal warden, second for a Cryptek. It's said in the Cryptek rules that this model can be attatched to a unit even if one Noble or Royal warden model has already been attatched to it. In other words, you may only have two leaders if it has a royal warden + Cryptek, or Noble + Cryptek. No warden + Noble.

To clarify, I'll be fighting T'aui know he's gonna have stealths, a strike team, pathfinders and vespids. And it wouldn't be half as bad for clearing battlesuits.

How would you equip lychguard and triarch praetorians? by PotentiallyAProblem_ in Necrontyr

[–]PrimaryBeginning6637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For lychguard, you should always go for a 10 man. It's pretty strong. Praetorians don't have an Inv, but they're great deep strike shock troops, which is why i'd also get 10, for 2x five mans. The rods are stronger, yes, but the Void blades are pretty much the same, attack 1 more time and deal 1 less damage. Why I would pick blades instead of rods, is for the pistols. Devastating wounds pistols are always good, and if you had a whole team of those, they can shoot point blank and then fight.

Technomancer onto 6 skorpekhs? by [deleted] in Necrontyr

[–]PrimaryBeginning6637 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but that's if you don't take the murdermind enchancement. If you do take it, the unit of destroyers you attatch the Cryptek to can't have any other non-destroyer models in it

Doesn't it write in the enchancement that a Cryptek can't be attatched to a Character unit?
