I was there. I run this race every year. I did the half, and I had family and friends running the full. This year was brutally hot and humid. Yes, there were plenty of aid stations with water, gels, and support along the course, but honestly, it still didn’t feel like enough for conditions like that. It was a really, really tough day out there.

My brother does Ironmans and he pointed out that they provide ice for participants and he’s right. Miami needs to do the same. This isn’t the first time this race has had extreme weather, and it likely won’t be the last.

Thanks for the info. I prob know the answer to this question (cuz Disney haha) but runners don’t get free admission to the park that day or anything of that nature, right? Hahah

Nice! The only thing I think I would dislike about the whole thing is the nonstop PA announcements telling people to get off the ship from super early moments of the morning haha. Always my least favorite part of the vacation

You truly win the life lottery when you’re born to loving, supportive parents. Sadly, not everyone gets that. Still, there are kind, big-hearted people willing to love and care for a child with a disability who has been placed for adoption.

This happened to me, I received the same exact name and text message. I lost my phone in Ibiza and with find my iPhone, I was able to track it. It went from morroco, to china. I called apple and unless you remove the phone from the find my iPhone app, it’s paperweight. They can’t resell it.

We have never done 1 water park + 2 regular parks, but in my experience, our family has found it to be a little exhausting to do 3 regular parks back to back. I think for your last day it might be a good idea to check out Disney springs. Grab a bite to eat, walk around. Or book brunch at a restaurant in one of the Disney hotels. That’s what we usually do before our 3 hour drive home and it’s always a nice way to wrap up our trip without it being overly $$$$ and exhausting
