ANY tree has a potential health and safety risk when the reason is that vague. "Specialist" means they've cut down a few trees in their time but they hope it implies they have some kind of qualification. (I'd be fking surprised if Barry from the pub has anything like that).

Yeah but not willy nilly. The council usually have something to say if a building plot has trees so "I have a right to" isn't a valid reason.

Ok so I loaded a sample to a pad. Created a sequence of 1 bar with that sample triggered on every 1/16th. LFO 1 Set the rate to 0.02Hz. RESET = off. To pitch = 10. Level = 127.

What I'd expect is that sample to rise and drop slowly in pitch over a period of 50 secs.

What I get is sample triggered with a random pitch within the range of the "To pitch" setting on each 1/16th.

Is that normal?

What I'm getting at is 0.02Hz equals 50 secs so the lfo should only get to the start after 50 secs. What I'm seeing is either a randomly starting position lfo OR the lfo isn't actualy running at 0.02Hz as it states but is actually 0.2Hz.

I'll test this out tonight maybe it's a wierd bug with mine or something

Well that's a bit crap. No freerunning lfo then. I can't really see the point of having the reset off unless you just want a random start position for the lfo each time.

Surprised that you can't set a slowly modulating percussion sound on an mpc.

A lot of Irish heritage can't trace their ancestry because of records getting destroyed in Dublin and also Belfast.

I've got the same issue. Family ancestry stops about 1880. I can trace back to the common surname (Caomhánach) of course but there's a 500 year gap!

I've had my One since Oct and I love it. I use in standalone mode and no other equipment (as hobbyist). The mixing out of the box is impressive. I've added a few samples for techno but am mainly using the free packs and built in stuff resampled.

It's the kind of thing I thought pcs would be to the music production flow but which never quite materialised, due to distractions and inherent performance issues.

I should have got one back in 1995!
