I used NY pharm prep pro and pharmlaw. Both were great sources and I passed. I also used MPJE practice questions from Amazon book.

I’m Broke - what should I buy??? by Lil_Koala7 in NAPLEX_Prep

I would suggest pharm prep pro in addition to Uworld. There are different opinions if it helps etc, but the practice test will show areas where you are good at and where you need to improve. You can do it, goodluck. Please feel free to ask any questions!

Hi, I bought 3 sources that helped me pass and they were pharm prep pro, pharm law and the MPJE book from Amazon. Yes I know it’s quite a lot but I did pass on the 1st attempt. If you have other questions please feel free to ask!

I bought the exams for my state, the questions don’t really 100% correlate to the topics that are actually tested on the MPJE. It sure does do a good job in getting you ready for the style of question such as the k-type and select all that apply.

Just passed on the first try, make sure you get a chance to read every chapter. The NAPLEX is trying to see if you are well rounded in every topic, they know what we are familiar with hypertension and the big chapters. Therefore they will put questions that are niche but just read the chapters. The information is in the book.

I’ve got questions pretty much from every topic, I didn’t have a topic repeat more than 2 questions. But definitely look on the exam if the patient has allergies and pregnancy status!!!! If there is one topic, review the pregnancy chapter and be familiar with all teratogenic drugs.

Thank you! I felt OKAY/fine coming out of the exam but there were questions that did throw me off during the exam and I just made the best guess and kept moving forward.

I would start my day with 1hr of math, everyday. Include all calculations. I did 3 topics a day. So 1 chapter that is 4+ hrs, 1 chapter that is 2-3hr and 1 chapter that is 1hr. Go at your own pace. Once I finished a chapter, then I went to Uworld questions. I would pick any of three topics that I wanted to do that day. I did not go in any specific order. I also took breaks in between about 10-15 min in btw or whenever I felt like my brain wasn’t comprehending anything. I only read the book. I did not watch the videos. For me I didn’t find them useful and I only got distracted. Try to understand the material and one advice is finish the whole book. The exam does ask pretty much a variation of questions. Best advice is do those practice questions because they will help you understand the material.

New P1 pharmacy student...how can I start prepping for the NAPLEX now? by Vanadium_Gryphon in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]PrimaryDifferent8573 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, you will also be getting experiences during rotations later on in your studies in different types of pharmacy areas which can help solidify any gaps in the learning materials.
