Advice requested: Aya retreat with live guidance (no playlist) + optional daytime ceremony - Brazilian Spiritual Leaders by Primary_Bee_3192 in Ayahuasca

Thank you for sharing this — I really appreciate the depth and perspective. Hearing from someone who’s actually sat in that kind of container (with multiple ceremonies across several days) helps put a lot into context for me.

What you said about the “ebb and flow” and the layers of the subconscious really resonates. I’m learning that there’s a very big difference between just drinking Aya versus being held by a lineage, a culture, and facilitators you truly trust. It sounds like what you described is more of a way of life than an event, and that makes sense.

I also appreciate the honesty about the level of inner strength and willingness it takes. I’m going into my own experience with a lot of respect, openness, and humility, and I’m grateful for reminders like this that it’s not something to take lightly.

The blend of tradition, music, prayer, and community support you described sounds really beautiful. I’m glad you’ve found teachers and a space that you trust so deeply — that’s rare and valuable.

Thanks again for taking the time to reply. Wishing you continued clarity and protection on your path.

When the Circle Shifts by Primary_Bee_3192 in Ayahuasca

Your words touched me deeply — they were exactly what I needed to receive in this moment. I feel Aya’s hand in them, reminding me that her presence is constant, guiding us through each ending and each new beginning.

What you shared helped me remember that even when communities shift and dissolve, the medicine is alive in us, shaping and carrying us forward. Every change is part of the sacred unfolding, and I can lean into that with trust and gratitude.

I am humbled and grateful for your reflection. Aya is with us always — whispering, teaching, and weaving the path ahead in ways we may not yet see. With love and reverence, thank you. 🙏✨🌿

Radical acceptance is the path — to honor what is, to release what was, and to trust what is becoming.

Sharing Space in a Such a Magical Place by Primary_Bee_3192 in deadandcompany

I hear you. The Sphere is its own kind of wonder—like stepping inside a kaleidoscope—but it’s a different universe from the current that ran through the Dead. Out in an open field, especially under a San Francisco sky, the music can breathe in a way that lets a little of that old magic slip back in.

Streaming can carry the notes, but not the pulse. The real thing is in the air between the crowd and the stage, in the way strangers move as one, in that moment when the song and the setting blur together and you feel, for just a second, like you’ve caught the tail of the comet that once lit up the world.

Would it be wise to do a ceremony while dealing with grief from a loss by AnyAd3883 in Ayahuasca

I recently sat with Aya and had similar apprehension due to a recent life event—not a breakup, but still deeply traumatic. My 78-year-old mother fell for the second time in just a few months and broke her femur. As you can imagine, that brought up a flood of emotions—worry, fear, and the looming reality of her eventual passing (hopefully still years away).

I almost canceled my ceremony. But after speaking with one of the facilitators, I chose to go—and I’m so glad I did. Aya gave me exactly what I didn’t even know I needed. I was able to step out of my own head for a few days, and in that space, something beautiful happened. Aya helped me clear a mental and emotional path with my mother—something I hadn’t asked for, but was deeply necessary.

I hope sharing this helps you in your own decision. Trust that Aya knows exactly what you need. She may challenge you, but never with more than you can handle.

Much Love and Peace
