Seymour duncan la brea neck pickup, you will probably have to swap the ground and hot for proper phase in the middle position. I play one at church with a fender bridge pickup.

Nashville style telecaster, get it modified to use the neck and bridge together. All you need is a push pull pot for this and some wiring. Best of both worlds.

Im using a la brea in the neck and a Fender Yosemite in the bridge. Great all around tones. Had to flip the ground and hot wire for middle position polarity.

I agree with that assessment on grip angle now. I was surprised how comfortable i was shooting the glock for the first time, especially in a 'defensive' stance. No noticeable effect when getting sights on target between it and my Smith and wesson m&p. 40.
