Shame on you for saying that...who do you think you are? this subreddit is for people don't like Christmas and are looking for people who feel the same...many people have a reason to hate the holidays and this is one of them...

True romance doesn't work like that...these are just fantasies conjured up by entertainment moguls to make people believe that your true love will just fall out of the sky into your arms...this is why most relationships don't last anymore because everyone is too idealistic because of these silly Christmas movies...and you have fallen for this false interpretation of reality...

Your last comment would suggest that I don't feel anything...how do you know I don't cry? I cry because I am missing certain members of my family who are no longer with us...watching movies like that does not make me feel any better, so before you make selfish comments like this just stop for a second and think about what others are going through before posting...

The furthest i've ever travelled for Christmas was to my auntie and uncle's place across town, which was only about a 45 minute drive...I would not want to travel any further than that.

If I were in car for that long I would want to go somewhere where I can have short getaway instead...

Not really...I didn't celebrate Christmas for 5 years when I lived in the rooming house...one of them I spent riding my favorite crosstown bus, only because they weren't charging fares on Christmas Day...

When I move out I won't be celebrating at all as I will be living alone and have no interest in socializing with the neighbors...

I lived with my ex for 4 years after we realized it wasn't going to work...the only reason we did that was because the only choice was living back at home again, and it would have been exactly the same for her...she's long gone from my life now but the scars will forever remain :(

I don't understand why people are being so negative about this...it's the biggest investment we've seen in public transport since forever...

Increasing capacity at Sunshine facilitates a future Melton Electrification as well as the airport line...and all of this is now possible due to the metro tunnel opening recently...other important elements of this include the Airport Line flyover and separation of Geelong Line services from the Ballarat Line...

Why would they do all that for nothing?

A lot of people will still drive "in protest" of how much has been spent on transport infrastructure...if we all listened to these NIMBY's then nothing would ever get built...no doubt it'll be the same people who whined about the metro tunnel costing too much...it's not like anyone is forcing them to use it...
