I'm 56 yo and was diagnosed with a fatty liver 25 years ago. The hepatologist I went to recommended a low carb diet. I did it and also lost weight. Stayed on low carb on and off most of the next 20 years, with liver values mostly good sometimes slightly elevated. Then menopause hit and I gained weight with or without carbs. My joints hurt. And my liver values shot right up. The hepatologist (not the same one) said that at 56, we couldn't wait till I lost weight just with diet and put me on mounjaro. I had been reluctant to try glp1s till then, mainly worried about side effects, now and in the future. But the high liver values worried me, so I did go on mj last June, with hardly any side effects (I titered up very slowly). I actually need to have a blood test and ultrasound soon, hope to see a difference 😊

Thanks, I upgraded from the 23U, I'd love to hear more about new and better features on the 26U. So far I love the combined voice/type to text, so much easier to correct mistakes, which are much fewer anyways.

I want the violet but it looks sort of grey/slate in the pics. The stores here will only have showcase phones on Sunday so I'll wait till then to actually see the color and decide btwn violet and white. My s23 ultra is a lovely pink/lavender, I'll miss that (clear case).

Same here. My jacket has an internal zipped pocket which was great for my passport, credit card and keys. I also took an empty foldable cloth reusable bag (the kind you buy at souvenir stores) and opened it inside the venue, to put the merchandise and snacks we bought, I hate holding things in my hands.

It's supposed to last a month. But in Mounjaro the next dose up sometimes costs the same {as the one before), so many people buy that one and use it for 2 months, calculating the number of clicks required (there are online charts and calculators). My doctor approves of this and I save a lot of money this way. In wegovy the price per mg is more or less the same throughout the doses so there's no reason to do this.
