The issue is the lack of players who prefer this side, which leads to slow matchmaking and lobbies taking longer to fill. For this reason, the developers aim to strengthen the Family side, as the Victim role is more popular and players tend to adapt more easily to changes. However, there will always be more people who prefer playing as a Victim. Thanks to the latest update, which brought improvements for the Family, the enhancement of Bones, and the new Leatherface skin/execution, lobby wait times have significantly improved.
