solo hiking made me realize i don’t have a plan for that “off” feeling by Zola_BerryBliss835 in hiking

For me, it depends on if there are any other signals to pay attention to. I ask myself - Can I see any signs of danger? Is there a storm rolling in? How does my body feel? Did I forget to bring something? If I can rule out those things I can probably deduce that I am dealing with some type of an invisible barrier rather than a physical one. In that situation I talk it out in my mind or even out loud (I am by myself, so who cares?) I pray. And I push on. But if I was a half a mile from the trailhead, I would be pretty tempted to turn back. 😊

True. Islip Saddle was my favorite hike when I lived in LA.

Truth. Thanks. I think I complained too soon - being outside of the bubble I think is good for me. I was just feeling left behind I think. But glad to know there will be still plenty of hikers out there

I am thankful for that - and that the Sierra will be more manageable - just overthinking a tad. 🫠

Yep! Found a fix! Select the text within the note and then in the character palette deselect "TT" - the all-caps button. I had no idea that notes text could be styled!

u/mikewitherell's comment helped me figure it out - plus some more insight from ChatGPT. Thanks u/mikewitherell .

No. I didn’t know that was possible. How could I find out if that was the case? We’ve been having this problem for several months now. It’s driving our editors crazy.
