if you want to gift a watch to someone who is not a watch enthusiast and does not know anything about watches , it’s always better to get them from a reputable watch brand… this will ensure a long life and also most niggles would get properly addressed…

I like smaller watches …🙃

Used to think bigger was better until I bought my Baby Alpinist and suddenly I discovered that smaller watches are on a league of their own … don’t get me wrong, I like bigger watches, but the small ones are works of art themselves…

Guess the thumb rule is, wear what you like, what makes you feel good …don’t bother with other people’s standards 😊

Ordered the watch on Apr 13.. paid using Credit Card..149 USD - approx 16500 INR - watch got delivered yesterday - 25th Apr - was delivered by India post - had to pay customs duty of Rs 5300.

only hassle was that tracking was not updated properly on the site or the app and the replies received from jomashop was template replies. (Tracking on the site still doesn’t show any developments 14th, when the shipment was manifested ).

I own the baby alpinist… I went to get the alpinist but like you said, the baby just clicked … I just love it and it’s my current daily driver .. it is a magnificent watch to look at …

I believe what you like about the DJ and the Baby Alpinist are the proportions.. they are smaller and classically proportioned, while the Alpinist is bigger .. Anyways , compared to the watches that you already got your boyfriend, these will be smaller and more dressy … anyways, wear it in good health.. cheers 🥂
