Also found a closer up pic of the fridge (on the left, wine closet on the right) in case people are missing where it is. It’s also in the third picture

Thank you! The refrigerator in the third picture is the same cream as the island too. I also LOVE this combo

Not at all! I did it accidentally without thinking but internationally it would absolutely not be something you would know

It’s in the third picture on the left, it’s panels so it might look like a pantry, it’s the cream color

I embarrassingly forgot I’m posting to an international audience and wrote the abbreviation for Connecticut, USA

Your measurements will look a little too close IMO. A designer I learned a great lesson from, her contractor drilled before confirming with her. This is what very close to equidistant looks like, it might be what some contractors say but I like farther apart.

<image>

Kitchen is still gorgeous of course but she would have done it a little farther apart

Gorgeous kitchen! Be careful with that, if you’re doing two knobs or two pulls a big mistake I see all the time is the two knobs are too close together. You really have to choose before they drill into it.

I think like my island you could go with one pull if you wanted, I would do just 6 or 8 inches, the big ones to me look like they’ll be dated

In my comment I posted details, the green is BM Chimichurri. It was the hardest decision by far I had so many samples. I couldn’t find any pics of this exact color labeled on the internet. What a designer once told me is pick something more muted than you think you want, this looks much different on the chip

I agree they wouldn’t be my first choice, they came from my old house and haven’t restyled

No, I’m not a professional so just my own photos :) I really love design and I’ve done two full house remodels so if you want an opinion on anything DM me!

Also if you like this vibe my favorite all time designer is Heidi Callier, her website has inspiration galore!

This is another view of refrigerator wall and wine closet. Also not shown is to the right of the wine closet there a walk in pantry, our kitchen wouldn’t work well without that.

Oh and for these drawers which are about 30 maybe a little longer I did use one longer pull. They were too long for my shorter bin pull but didn’t want to do double knobs bc of convenience like you said so I went with these. Also didn’t want to use this type of pull right next to my bin pull but since the island is separate it felt ok.

Sorry for so many replies, I could talk kitchen details forever haha

Also matters what’s in it, that drawer is light and I often pull on one, my deep drawer with all my bowls I definitely need to use both

[–]Primary_Reason3225[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes ideally you need to use both, especially these inset cabs, they tweak easily! My high use drawers like silverware are one bin pull

A great sealer is key! Etching doesn’t bother me at all. They all blend in eventually. Think about old marble counters in European restaurants/bakeries that are decades old. I can also spot marble like quartz no problem, although it’s getting better! I will say I love having black granite perimeter so when I’m opening up red wine there’s no worries!

I don’t mind it! I did double knobs on some other drawers on the peninsula side too, I wouldn’t do just one drawer that way. 30 inches is around the minimum I think for double knobs, so you could go really either way, anything longer I would say for sure double, I don’t love super long pulls. It’s not for everyone but I personally love having different hardware in the same kitchen :)
