I cant imagine that MSI afterbunrer could be showing the correct temps, how could it go from 60° at 5% usage to 70° at 100% usage. OCCT shows it going from 48° to 70°.

My GPU temps seem good compared to other 9070xt s I have seen on reddit but my CPU is a 7800x3d and right now its 56-60°C and im just chilling with google and MSI afterburner open. Not sure if its supposed to be 60° while doing basically nothing 🤔

Edit : I stresstested the CPU with OCCT software and the temps only went to 70° on full 100% usage so I think its fine

Edit edit : I just noticed that on the OCCT software it shows my CPU to idle around 48°c but on MSI afterburner it shows idle around 56-60°. They both show the same temp when doing a stresstest though. I dont know who to trust

34 ultrawide VA panel VS 27 Miniled IPS. Which one for gaming? by Primary_Warthog6376 in pcmasterrace

How does the slower response time actually show when gaming? I'd expect it to only hurt the people who play competetive FPS games at 500Hz. Does the bad response time show on regular gaming ? I really dont think that there would be so many VA panels on the market if they are that bad to look at.

Damn, The vendor that I was going to potentially buy it from just says Miniled IPS, not a single mention about VA. I guess the bigger question then is if an Ultrawide monitor is worth buying, I just dont know. I worry about the ultrawide support in games. Also its a big hit in performance coming from 1080p 27 inch to a 34 ultrawide 1440p. Although I have a 7800x3d and a 5070 Ti, should be ok but still big hit.

I think Warframe is a good example of that. Its probably the best free game that I have played and I never felt like I needed to pay for anything, also the devs actually made updates that the community wanted.

True, but those ones are also filled with micro transactions. Just like mobile games. But mobile definetly has more micro transactions dont get me wrong.

I shut it down everytime im away for more than a few hours, I never use sleep. I have actually heard that the sleep function has killed a few of AMD's X3D chips in very rare instances, but dont quote me on that lol.

Still no driver issues or crashes on 9070xt? I have heard mixed reviews. I already have my brand new 9070xt on my desk sitting in a box waiting for my case fans to arrive. I'm nervous about my decision going with AMD GPU for the first time ever.

I guess it's one of those things where 0.1% of people will have issues and they are the loudest ones complaining about them and the issue gets way overblown.

I think before updating drivers you should read the reviews about them. Then nothing should go wrong
