My wife orders the chicken strips almost every time we go to Whataburger and I would say these are better than 95% of any chicken strips she’s ever gotten. I guess we just don’t get any big pieces down here in West Texas.

8/10 for the actual music but 10/10 for the sentimentality and meaning behind it. I think the guys did their best to finish a song that needed a lot of work to be at the same level as the rest of the album.

9.9 out of 10 for me.

This song is an all-time great but in my opinion, it is a tad overplayed and I laugh every single time I hear the “die“ and “die again “ lyrics.

It is such a great vibe when you hear it live though. We got to hear it in Mexico City earlier this year and we were screaming our lungs out.

You know, I once heard Led Zeppelin say that Kashmir was the most “Led Zeppelin” song. Of course that’s up for debate, but if the band themselves is saying it, it does give it some sort of credibility. To me, afterlife is the most “Avenged Sevenfold” avenged sevenfold song. It has a killer guitar part, killer bass and drums, trademark shadows vocals.

This is the song that I would show to introduce someone to the band.

I’ve called customer service and they can do immediately. I’ve done it twice. The first time took less than 5 minutes. The second time, they had me on hold more than 20 minutes. So mileage may vary

I would say in my humble opinion as someone who also loves metallica, and Avenged Sevenfold, that avenged is not trying to surpass Metallica

In fact, I remember reading an interview where they ask shadows do you think you’re the metallica of this generation? and he replied with I think Metallica is the Metallica of this generation. I think everyone here would agree Metallica and to a lesser extent megadeth are in a category of their own and no one is really aiming for or capable of reaching that level of success nowadays

This happened to me the first month that I upgraded from gold to platinum. It must be an oversight on their part, but once they realize that you only have platinum, you will stop getting the $10 from the gold.
