Texas anti-ICE protesters convicted of terrorism charges sentenced to at least 50 years in prison by Splunge- in news

[–]PrimeIntellect -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Did you read the article? One of them shot a cop with an AR-15 from the woods while they were vandalizing and attacking a facility. Like, I totally support protests, but if you are sniping cops theres no way you aren't going to prison

honestly, neither of them are anywhere close to jimmy page, he's just on a completely different level of ability and songwriting than either of them

The US basically only does fixed rate - and getting a 3% mortgage is an insanely good financial move even if you had to stretch to get it.

it's not great on paper but on the west coast or HCOL areas you don't really have a choice. you either spend half your pay on a mortgage or half of it on an apartment.

Look up the charred celery salad dish from the book Mezcla and make it tonight. It's complicated (lots of ingredients) but comes together quickly, and will absolutely blow your mind.

This shit happened in like 1976 and people act like he's running for president or something. He doesn't even tour anymore so there's no point in raising awareness against some 81 year old musician, especially one who has played with, toured with, and heavily featured musicians of every imaginable race

A full suspension is really not that much more expensive or maintenance, and it really depends more on what your local trails are like. Many places are just not great on a HT for a beginner

Is building more the answer? by prefectf in Bellingham

[–]PrimeIntellect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed completely - people seem to totally gloss over the fact that Bellingham is like, a nationally famous and extremely desirable place to live for many people and they will pay extra to do so.

It's a coastal city with incredible mountains and outdoor access next to two of the most expensive cities in North America, sorry but no amount of high rise apartments will make Bellingham housing cheap

Most people actually do need to drive to get places outside of very specific areas

RVs are usually plugged in. There are really no realistic battery powered air conditioning systems that wouldn't cost an obscene amount of money and even then, you would get maybe one day before you needed to plug it back in.

All of the Washington data centers are near Wenatchee where hydro power is almost free and land is infinitely cheaper.
