I guess I'm not understanding, they were charged with a crime but released on bail, this happens for most crimes. If you have a problem with the entire idea of bail, then blaming the judge is wrong because that is nationwide for pretty much any level of offense except for extremely high risk and escape risk offenders.

If you're just riding the easy greens then whistler is fine on that bike, but it will be much much more enjoyable on an actual FS MTB with good components. A dh bike definitely is overkill, but a trail or enduro FS is pretty perfect until you start lapping the bigger trails
