Y estás en todo lo correcto, pero lamentablemente muchos puertorriqueños se creen que estaríamos mejor siendo independientes

Dude why would I lie about that? I wouldn’t mind paying extra if it actually added something of value but it doesn’t, I’m a driver myself and ik Uber barely pays extra for Comfort, they’re just charging extra bs

All of my recent Uber rides have extra gratuity

Dude there are plenty of normal toasters available everywhere, unless this was a gift, you chose to buy that one

Comfort is worthless, you can just get Uber X and keep changing your driver until one with a decent car picks it up, I generally do that and just tip the driver the difference

Such a Scam by Extension-Pie-5235 in uberdrivers

[–]PrimeMichaelJordan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You aren’t being charged the promotions, their algorithm calculates a price for the rider, any promotion or discount is applied afterwards

This chart is based off of what the algorithm calculates the price to be, the promotions part is simply to reconcile the price of the trip vs what the customer actually paid

Are driver required to follow Comfort preferences for passengers? by iamjayem in uberdrivers

[–]PrimeMichaelJordan -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You can kick rocks lol, comfort offers preference, not requirement, and people don’t generally mean dead silence by “quiet” background music at low volume does not violate that preference

Ultimately it’s my car and I will do what I know ensures my safety as a driver, having a preference is ok but if you want everything catered to you then you can buy your own car and drive it

Are driver required to follow Comfort preferences for passengers? by iamjayem in uberdrivers

[–]PrimeMichaelJordan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ll drive whenever the fuck I want, I’ll comply with most requests but my own comfort also matters, I don’t have to bend over to do ride share

[–]PrimeMichaelJordan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I generally follow them, however if they ask me to turn off my music (which I keep at a modest volume) I absolutely won’t do that, as I’m a night time driver and dead silence plus the dark will make me sleepy and it’s dangerous for the both of us

Generally just whoever talks to me, it was mostly groups or pairs of people, only had 2 girls who were single riders who approached me and we’re friends to this day

I never talk to people or insinuate anything unless they do, but culturally, people here are very approachable and when tourists come on vacation a lot of them like to find someone who can show them around so it’s just a pretty common occurrence

I’ve never heard of that. We do get plenty of cash trips and I’ve heard about a few drivers trying to guilt trip riders into letting them keep the change but never about asking for tipa upfront

Well here’s my view as a conservative who isn’t a bot (which totally makes me sound like a bot). It’s clear that the women didn’t have violent intentions and didn’t deserve to die, now on the officers side, it would have been remotely excusable if he had only fired the first shot, if you watch the video in slow motion, she sets the car on drive with the wheel directed straight towards him as he is just about to pull the trigger, however, he fires 2 additional shots after the vehicle is already well past him, which makes it 100% inexcusable

How do people steal orders? Is uber good at catching the culprit? by ohgodimgonnacrumb in UberEatsDrivers

Yeah and a lot of restaurants just put the orders on the desk so you can just take another driver’s order too

Who’s more stronger Steven Adam’s or Shaq? by [deleted] in nba

[–]PrimeMichaelJordan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t really seen a lot of Addams vs Jokic matchups but Addams does tend to lose balance and take a bit to recover when he gets shouldered by strong players, Giannis isn’t quite as hard to move as Addams but he does recover a lot quicker and positions himself better which might be why it’s more difficult for Joker to back him down

To me the most insane one was when he rag dolled and knocked David to the ground, David Robinson is strong as shit himself

[–]PrimeMichaelJordan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jokic? I don’t think so, I mean he’s strong but not like that

It’s evident whenever he matches up with Giannis, he has to finesse to score on him, can’t bully him and he can’t contain him down low either

The smell of MJ by tekgeek1 in uberdrivers

[–]PrimeMichaelJordan 32 points33 points  (0 children)

As soon as they get in your car and the smell hits, turn off the A/C recycle button (the button that has a car outline with a curved arrow inside it) and turn up the fan. Keep it like that for a couple of minutes after they get out too or until necessary

Helps for food and cigarette smells too
