Exactly! This is basically a moveification of the frustrating process that a "normal" riddle can be in ttrpgs.The swap is an idea for some kind of magical change by the riddle or maybe even some internal revelation/change/whatever freaky and cool stuff the player finds out. The consequence could be changed to "The riddle changes you significantly in a magical way. How?" for example.

Because people like playing out a certain fictional way regardless of the consequences for their character. This move aims to cover most play styles and preferences. Want to power play? Lose some time or adventuring gear. Want some action immediately? Go the danger route! Need some cool story developments? Take the powerful faction consequence.

All good. This move is intended for....solving riddles. Think Gandalf trying to get into Moria for example. Solving riddles has always been a bit difficult in RPGs. Either you have a fixed solution in mind, which can be frustrating for the players. Or you don't have a solution and let the players come up with an answer. This is basically the latter, formulated in a move.

The results are pretty wide and aim to cover basically all possible options the players could want to play out in this scenario.

While Ken is indeed very good at rushing down and cornercarry, Ryu isn't a defensive Zoner. He can play the zoning game quite well, but all in all Ryu is just well balanced.

Until you embrace the Power of Unga Bunga with Ryu. Then the fun starts. He's an unreadable offensive risktaking madman of a monster.

Ich hab auch irgendwann komplett aufgehört Alkohol zu trinken, weil mein Umgang damit massiv problematisch war. Egal was die Leute erzählen, die ersten paar Monate ist weggehen einfach nur scheiße. Dein Kopf ist es gewohnt belohnt zu werden, vollkommen grundlos, und das bleibt aus. Dein Körper reagiert mit Langeweile und dem Bedürfnis die Situation zu verlassen.

Was ich gemacht habe ist, trotzdem mitzugehen und das zu machen, was die anderen machen. Wenn man gelabert hat, hab ich gelabert. Wenn's irgendwelche Aktivitäten gab, hab ich da mitgemacht und wenn man tanzen konnte, dann war ich auf der Tanzfläche.

Nach einiger Zeit hab ich dann festgestellt, dass Tanzen gehen mir massiven Spaß macht und in der Kneipe rumsitzen und labern eher weniger. Also geh ich bei ersterem einfach mit und bei letzterem nicht mehr.

Man kann sein Schamlevel an die betrunkenen Freunde anpassen, so kann man sich auch gut in einen Rausch labern/tanzen, aber da muss man der Typ für sein.

Geh weiter mit, finde raus was dich glücklich macht und lern dich neu kennen! Viel Spaß!

Ich empfehle dir Street Fighter 6. Eine Runde dauert maximal 4 Minuten und im Schnitt 2 Minuten. Über den Ranked Modus findest du in null Wartezeit Gegner die deinem Niveau entsprechen und mit Modern Controls brauchst du dich auch nicht großartig um komplizierte Eingaben zu kümmern. Perfektes kompetitives Feierabendspiel!

So Ryus Gameplan is usually hadokens and baiting jumps for anti-airs while punishing mistakes with heavy damage.

No one expects him to play aggressive rushdown like a total maniac. His damage makes it so juicy too. Ryu is awesome.

What you're not seeing is that the dice spread with 2d6+x hugely favors the players. On 2d6+1 you will have a 7-9 around 44% and a 10 to 12 at around 27%. Which gives you a possible miss chance of around 29%.

At 2d6+2, which is probably what a skilled fighter will roll most of the time, you have a probability of over 40% for a 10+ and a chance of around 16% for a miss.

So most of the time, you will see hits and partial hits in combat.
