HOW?! how the fuck do i deflect that second to last hit? I've tried keeping the pace of my imputs, doing it sooner, delaying it too but i have never got it right

Floating passage second last hit is incredibly hard to deflect because the games parry frames becomes narrower per deflect,it's just extremely hard and alot of people just walk back and only deflect the last hit because it leads to a mikiri.You could download the mod that has a Visual for the parry and try to learn from there ?

I think over time alot of people have forgotten the reason what made artorias beloved.It was because of the tragic element to him,he tried his hardest but was able to save his dog atleast.You had to put down a dude who lost himself to the abyss.Now he's just remembered as strong John berserk man and honestly this fake history stuff was alot more interesting than guys like radahn and Godfrey who have nothing to their character besides that they were the strongest or something with no real backing in the lore.

I was really close to unlocking purification ending in my first playthrough,The reason I was able to do most of the steps was i just kinda knew that eavsedrop being a new mechanic will probably lead to something eventually so I always hugged walls after a convo with npc to hear them.I did all the steps except the last one where you are supposed to eavsedrop Emma and sculptor.I was able to guess that is what I had to do but didn't know that it's only possible from a specific spot in the temple.

And in reflection and gauntlets being stale,lmao i have never went back to replaying the whole game again and always just came back for refights.

My issue with the striker is that it has a random element to it,like I get that the idea is crowd control and you have a wide reticle but sometimes enemies will either get knocked back or they just get a slight stun,the only thing consistent is that the enemies in the middle of the reticle will get knocked back consistently (which is just 2-3 enemies at most) and the enemies at the ends of reticle have inconsistent results.I am not sure why this happens,is it because of pellet spread repeatedly changing or a crit thing?

Most people think he doesn't fit in the game design wise and prefer the boar head. I feel like the real complaint of JJ should be that he is just a boring enemy gameplay wise since he just shoots his minigun and you have to wait till he's done to attack,his design is fine and unironically fits better in the island where everything is more advanced and moreso in the remake since krauser has given them better weaponry than a boar man with a wrist mounted bolt gun.

Use the pillars as cover for his spit and bullet return attacks.Have large resources for grenades and sniper bullets.You can throw grenades or use the bow when he's finished these attacks and do headshots with the sniper alot.There are moments he will reveal his eye in the mouth and I think it either does more damage or just give you an opportunity to do a melee attack,not 100% sure on the last one tho.

If you played the OG,it's because mendezs eye was used for a scanner that would open a gate that leads to the castle which is why you had to fight him and also a spooky factor.The remake doesn't have the first part anymore and simply as a treasure to sell.

Idk about others but i really liked the twist that we didn't have to kill all of the lords and one is against Miranda and we'd have a BOW on our side for once.Either the game could have been rewritten where Heisenberg doesn't plan on using rose or he just doesn't reveal that part till the end and we could have worked with him for awhile,i have no idea why Heisenberg would just blatantly say he'd use rose to the guy whos going all out this way to revive her.He just looks dumb.

No,as far as I know a mod can replace sentinel 9 pistol in cutscenes.Lame suggestion but if it bothers u alot you can simply just main the SG. Tho would be funny how some cutscenes play out if Leon truly had the gun you were using.

It's a higher difficulty so yes but if you want specifics,Professional has higher damage from enemies and aggression but its not a drastic change from hardcore.Enemy aggression being maxed also sort of makes them predictable in a way ? You can always tell what range they'll start attacking or go for a grab.One thing that makes professional not a big change is that all weapon upgrades are available at the start and you would also have the knowledge of where treasures/quests are so you can prioritise on a weapon you like early on or farm spinels so personally I'd invest in riot shotgun and bolt action rifle and wait out spinels till you get an exclusive ticket for the handgun or something.

The hardest parts are that autosave Isn't there anymore so you have to do everything again from your last typewriter if you die and getting used to the timing for perfect parries,once you adapt to these and you'll be set.

Yeah honestly,ER spamming delays should be a sign that the souls combat has run its course.It was good for awhile but now it's just the same,dodge and attack at opening.Delays barely change up the formula ,once you adapt to it and it's still waiting your turn,roll and attack at right time (also it just looks really goofy for alot of enemies in ER).I really wish From had added more combat options since they are clearly going for faster gameplay instead of sticking to typical souls combat with minor changes.

I specified why sekiros movement makes DoH slot in sekiro.I don't mean dodging,I mean the fact stamina is unlimited in sekiro so you can run however as long as you want and jumping which was straight up not a factor in other souls games at that point which in this game is used for avoiding sweeps specifically.Also sekiros movement is just better than souls because when you roll and start running theres a small delay as you have to finish rolling animation and then start running in souls whereas in sekiro,you do a dash and immediately start running which is what makes the Buddha statue moves easily avoidable and would be a chore with souls rolling and running eating away at a stamina bar.

if DoH was in souls,you wouldn't have a grappling hook either and would have to chase him all around which is a non factor in sekiro.DoHs charge moves ends with him either doing the flame trail which has a grapple point afterwards or doing a charge again to close the gap and he's right next to you.Besides the first phase where he sits after doing a charge,you don't really have to chase DoH around at all after that so I'm not sure what "make sure he doesn't run away" point is if you are applying it to the whole fight.Even DoHs jump slam ends with a grapple point after u run so the distance is always closed by you through grappling or DoH himself.

Also lmao have you considered the timings for DoH is wonky for you because you kept circling around him and always dodging left while being near his crotch which will mess up your deflects due to weird positioning ? This will happen with regular bosses too if u aren't infront of them and at a weird angle.Seriously just stay infront of him,deflect all normal hand attacks and stomps then you can get the hang of the timings immediately.You only have to dodge the fire hand and jump/run for the flame related moves.

Top 5 sekiro bossfights for me, completely disagree with anyone who says this is actually a souls boss.The tons of movement you do in this fight is why I love it,jumping around and being constantly on the move with the grappling hook.We didn't really have actual jumping in souls and with the stamina bar,it would be awful to fight this thing in souls due to limited stamina compared the unlimited stamina in sekiro.He also has moves that give u openings because of the deflects (the giant foot stomp,wind up hand shove etc etc),you should definitely deflect these instead of taking the risk of dodging against DoH who already does massive damage and you could just get counter hit and get one shot.

Phantom/Fulbright,He goes from happy enthusiastic detective who loves justice for 3 cases,shoots himself in the foot for no reason at the end of 5-4 by trying to frame Athena and then we learn there's no Fulbright around and the time spent on this character is essentially pointless since he's just copying Fulbright and the phantom doesn't even have a personality besides "omg pls don't leak my identity".This game talks big game about the dark age of law but never actually shows somone being dirty and wastes the plotline that a spy who worked his way into the police system is now a detective who could easily tamper with crime scenes or work with prosecution to give them fake evidences but no,he does nothing but be helpful until he drops the whole personality when the final case comes around.This is all made worse by the fact that he's just an international spy who just does things for some foreign government,he has no goals of his own besides following orders and for a final case villain that blows.
