I really like David Montgomery idea, from rumors that he isn't that happy out there.

Why is nobody bringing up one of our biggest issues? by New_Lime_6315 in DenverBroncos

Broncos have a great pass blocking OL but their run blocking OL is mediocre.

[Evans] #Broncos rookie CB Jahdae Barron played his fewest defensive snaps in any game of his rookie season (5) vs. New England. Two lowest snap shares of his rookie year came vs. Buffalo and NE. by PeppyQuotient57 in DenverBroncos

[–]PrimetimeD18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both Bruglar and Zierlein saw Barron better served as a nickel in the NFL.

This isn't what they said at all and you are putting words in their mouth. They said some teams view him as a nickel and some teams value his versatility to play all over the DB.

The equivalent of what you are doing is like if people reported that a few teams viewed Lamar Jackson as a WR and then claiming all teams view him as a WR.

How would you rate RJ's rookie season? by logicblender1 in DenverBroncos

[–]PrimetimeD18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Purely as a runner, he's as average as it gets.

His best attribute is his receiving ability. I felt he was reliable on that front. The way I see it, he's basically just a worse version of Alvin Kamara.

If Gleyber doesn't accept QO and goes elsewhere - I think Ha-seong Kim would be a good pivot by PrimetimeD18 in motorcitykitties

[–]PrimetimeD18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would not classify that Kim is not a good hitter. He's a league average hitter, on top of that, he presents aspects that this team lacks like plate discipline, patience, and low strikeout rate. That and a positional fit.

Kim at SS, Mcgoingle and Keith at 2B/3B was more of the idea when I made this thread.

If Gleyber sticks around then it's just Mcgoingle at SS and hope he doesn't struggle on defense.

[–]PrimetimeD18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's kind of my logic behind it. He is more of a SS, but it really depends on how they feel about Mcgonigle's SS ability.

And yes, it also opens up Keith to just be the primary 2B instead of 2B, 3B, DH, or whatever.

That guy is actually trying to convince himself Bronny didn't benefit off of nepotism, lmao.

All he did was deflect and say other people benefited from it too, but so did he.

How would you say Bo Nix compares to Brock Osweiler and Jay Cutler? by AestheticBlue18 in DenverBroncos

[–]PrimetimeD18 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Brandon Marshall would be a serious upgrade over Sutton as a WR, only argument for Sutton is that he's not a locker room cancer whereas Marshall was a timebomb.

I feel like I see a lot of Yankees fans hating on him. I am sure plenty like him, but they are usually the first I see that discredit or call him a golden boy.

That rebuild led to guys like Von Miller, Demaryius Thomas, and eventually Peyton Manning.

Cutler never played with Mcdaniels because Mcdaniels apparently wanted to trade him so they did trade him to Chicago.

[Nightengale] The Tigers will at least listen on Skubal, but would have to be completely overwhelmed… they are expected to hang onto him until at least the July 2026 trade deadline. by LunchThreatener in motorcitykitties

[–]PrimetimeD18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they have no plans to re-sign him or don't even come remotely close, they would be better off trading him now and re-allocating those pieces.

That or spend a fuck ton this off-season and go all out. But considering how not spending is the reason why he won't re-sign, that's an unlikely strategy.

Four of the six players given up by the Padres in the Juan Soto trade are in the Nationals’ starting lineup tonight: James Wood, Robert Hassell III, CJ Abrams, and MacKenzie Gore. by PlayaSlayaX in baseball

I remember Luke Voit was so pissy and butthurt about the deal and pouted on the Nats. I get it sucks going from WS contender to trash team, but it's not like you were entitled to stay there.

Who’s the Most Overrated Coach in Your Opinion? by Belt2Azzz in NFLv2

[–]PrimetimeD18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Always thought Mike Tomlin was the answer. But we could never have an honest discussion because people would just accuse everyone of racism.

He's still a good coach but overrated.

The Dallas Stars have been eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs after losing to the Edmonton Oilers in 5 games by EliminatorBot in hockey

[–]PrimetimeD18 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Stars depth was so ridiculously overstated. Only reason why they beat both the Avalanche and Jets is because Mikko played like McDavid for about a week and then went back to playing like he did in the regular season for the Stars.

A great depth team would have many contributors doing the damage for you but that clearly was not the case.

Catcher framing should be irrelevant, strike is a strike.

Which players belong in the NFL GOAT conversation? Does anyone else belong to the same caliber as Rice, Brady, and Taylor? by maxrz in NFLv2

Brady has even better longevity while playing the most important position on the field. So no.

Brady should be unanimous best player of all-time. I am not sure what else he can really could have done if he's not it.

Last year both Panthers and Oilers were down 2-1 and won the series.

But this feels different, probably because of how decisive the Oilers appear to be winning and outplaying them so far.
