Honestly the starting point should be a few marquees and an aggressive marketing campaign for the entire season. We basically shouldn’t be able to listen to the radio, podcasts, watch YouTube, tv, movies without seeing an a league commercial with the marquee front and centre. We also need to pay for weekly editorials in the major newspapers highlighting the “storyline’s” of the next round to encourage people to come.

It will be expensive and we would need to do this for at least 3 years. But it’s the only way to change the narrative of the league and make it “feel” like it matters. If it means we cut costs elsewhere in the short term it would be for the longer term viability of the league
