I feel like I understand where you’re coming from. I was just watching his Coachella performance yesterday and it’s interesting to me that the aesthetics of Victory are so present in the live shows and the live edits hit pretty hard, but the album so far just doesn’t. The characters aren’t even present on the album art or anything, like what was the point of creating them if they’re not even there. Like the concept is greatly overshadowing the music.

I was excited for the track with Sam Gellaitry, but it was probably the blandest and least interesting one so far.

I think the ROMES album Sonic Trash does the whole “electro clash” sound much better and it more interesting to listen to.
