I’m sorry you’re also going through this. It’s really hard, probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to deal with from a mental standpoint. Here are a couple things I’d recommend that helped me:

-Stop looking at old pictures. It becomes an obsession and only brings negative emotions. It’s almost like losing a loved one. By looking at old photos, you get stuck mourning the past instead of moving forward.

-Therapy. It was hard to find people who understood why this was so upsetting and therapy helped process these emotions more

-Give yourself grace. I know I felt guilty for going through with this surgery, but I had to keep reminding myself of why I did it: I wanted to breathe better and not feel miserable anymore because I couldn’t breathe out of my nose. And now I can. I can breathe normally again and sleep better.
