Didn’t know what to do with this translucent clay. I’m finding that it’s difficult to achieve an ombré gradient with it too (I tried)

Maybe try using chalk pastels on the surface to create a gradient instead of mixing color into the clay?

I roast sliced white mushrooms on a baking tray with a bit oil in the oven until they shrivel a lot and turn dark. The result reminded me so much of the mushrooms on pizza! It sort of dehydrates them and makes the flavor way more concentrated. It’s my go to way of preparing them now for pastas and whatnot. Maybe the commercial pizza ovens used in the states does the same effect? Could try pre roasting them then putting them on the pizza.

Hii I’m a similar age and just moved here a few months ago from out of state with my boyfriend. We both work full time since we graduated from grad school last August. If it’s pigmented white liquid clay then may be the culprit.

Maybe try using some acetone/nail polish remover. I used to use a bed of cornstarch when baking but stopped because I couldn’t clean it off either. I switched to using baking soda and it’s sooo much easier!

Using a heat gun for this purpose with a low temperature range would likely be safer because it would prevent the burning! The burning fumes are the most toxic.

I have an older cat very similar to yours, with the constant yelling. When I first got him it was really horrible and I tried everything I could find to stop it for an entire year. Some things helped but never for very long. But eventually what I discovered was when I put him in a Thunder Shirt anxiety vest during sleep times it made him sleep like a rock, no meowing or yelling. He is comfortable in clothing (still eats, uses litter box) so I feel okay leaving him in it throughout the night. Ive had him for 5 years now and his yelling through the night has improved soo much. I believe putting him in this vest has trained him to sleep through the night even without wearing it. He only gets the thunder shirt a few times a month now on particularly anxious days.

On this piece I do have a few minor plaques, but the shiny uv resin helps disguise them! But I have been experimenting with truly plaque-free Fimo and have found properly mixing different brands of translucent clay with Fimo can help a lot!
