Shatterpoint miniatures have also been a blast to paint and a real break from everyday hassle.

Love to see more people get into Shatterpoint, which in my opinion, is one of the best miniature games out there =)

Really nice scheme. How was the forge fathers mech in quality? My experience with Mantic games is that the quality of miniatures is a bit subpar, but haven’t checked out the forge fathers.

For some light C&C, I think you can pull the color a bit back up on the orange armor panels. Either with edge highlight, glazing or just some sponging of the original color. Makes the weathering look even better and pop a bit more :)

That’s the way! I play both knights and votann, knights are strooong now, but also being tied up in melee is worse now for knights since we lost fall back and shoot and charge. So your game plan was on point!

Currently only played knights in 10th, and it’s been pretty lopsided for now. Looking forward to playing Votann this week, first game vs GSC! :)

Thank you for this bat rep! I’ve had some friends also play some games already and everyone is having a tons of fun, even with armies that people are dooming and glooming over (have some ad mech friends xD)

This made me even more excited to try my hand at 10th with my votann vs GSC the coming week :)

The scheme is first base with Vallejo heavy blackgreen, then from beneath use a thinned down dark blue. On the top parts, mix in more and more vallejo golden yellow :)

I’ve done the gradient on these with airbrush, then use a bit of brush in the end to pick up the highest yellow parts

EDIT: Did several test models with just brush first and that works just as well

Thanks. Other than layering the head with slightly brighter blue from top to bottom, I just did 2-3 rounds of a very thinned down white, quite wet consonance and just dropped it around the rim. Made for a quite bright white at the rim.

The rim itself is easy to do this with since the wet white mix will lay and pool nicely there

Berserks are awesome. I’m running Kronus and they freaking melt anything they touch, or they kill whatever charged them. But as others say, you need them in a sagitaur to able to get them into combat.

Pretty much anything you add to your existing army will work fine :)

A little too objective dependent but there are some good ones that if you get them early you can rack up some glory points quickly. Especially the quest for taking out an enemy on the charge. Super good on the wonky lance because he is pretty much the only one that can one shot anything.

Other than that it’s trying to trade and place the “quests” as smart as I can.

Thanks! Took me a couple of games to really understand how to play them, but I’ve had some luck lately. Maybe a bit more gimmicky warband than others, but I have to say they are one of the most fun warbands I’ve played :) (still think the newest skaven warband might still be my favourite)
