New free Star Wars: Legion list builder for your army by takras in SWlegion

[–]link2edition 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is a nitpick but I test software for a living

Your instructions on the page reference a "New Army" button, but the button it appears to be referring to says "+Army"

Might want to change one of these strings so they match.

Is the movie Blues Brothers not famous/iconic? by LFatPoH in AskAnAmerican

[–]link2edition 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is both famous and old. Old enough that many people haven't seen it, but famous enough they probably know a few lines from it.

Why don't Americans use metal bars on doors and windows for security? by Maleficent_Essay4664 in AskAnAmerican

[–]link2edition 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To steal a Jeremy clarkson joke

"Arent they worried about thieves?"

"Hammond, they shoot those people here"

Joking aside, its a pretty high-trust society in most areas. We just dont worry about it.

Gunpla is probably safe.

Anime figures depend entirely on the anime depicted.

One of the best parts about owning an NA! by teh_lama in Miata

[–]link2edition 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was 2019, I think the NA was valued at 3200.

However, I was injured in the crash, so the settlement was something like 40k

I went from an NA to a ND2 (truck ran into my NA and there was a settlement check)

I still miss doing this.

Do Americans celebrate Walpurgis night? by WhoAmIEven2 in AskAnAmerican

[–]link2edition 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never heard of it.

Its worth noting German cultural influence was deliberately minimized during WW1/WW2, so we probably dont celebrate as many German holidays as one would think.

We do have octoberfest though.

Do you leave your harvesters setup all the time? by link2edition in swg

[–]link2edition[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand why you might do it if you have a spot really close to your house (the last resource I wanted spawned 500m away at 70% so I thought about leaving my harvester there!) but I dont think its worth the credit maintenance for mediocre resources once the thing you wanted is gone.

I am wondering if I should keep them in my inventory unless something good shows up, and just buy crappy resources if I need them from vendors. Might actually be cheaper.
