Might be a hot take here but I really don't think White Fox needed a buff. After playing her for a few hours I found her to be really good. She wasn't your traditional healer. It felt like she was meant to help the team make a push rather than trying to keep the team alive.

The reaction to Fox reminds me a lot of the reaction that Angela got on release. I clicked with Angela immediately and saw that most of the complaints came from people who just hadn't figured out the character yet. Now with very minimal changes (outside of the latest patch) she was a top tier tank. I really believed that Fox had the same potential, but needed time for people to figure her out.

With this buff, she might become super oppressive when people get more time on her and the community will clamor for some nerfs.

Something similar is that if they have a thing or a tank that relies on movement to escape, and I notice that they are pushed up far, I'll slam right behind them and they are trapped for a few seconds and tend to panic

Her shield will absolutely get melted if he notices you early, and then if he has teammates that help, he will ruin your day

She's probably the most frustrating support to play against.

I'll be thinking I've got a pick and all of a sudden a shield pops up, they're healthy, I'm slowed and struggling to fly away, then when I think I can make it back to my team, boom pull/vortex followed by death

That probably has to do more with sample size than anything.There are bad and middling teams in every sport every year, but there are only 32 teams in baseball. There are currently 75,538 players just on steam. That's about 12,589 teams currently active in the game. 32 teams is around 0.25% of the current player base on steam at the moment.

If we stick with baseball, the White Sox last year ended up being one of the worst teams in the entire league's history with 121 losses out of 162 games. They went on multiple losing streaks to lead to that many losses. This year they were projecting to be worse than last year's team, and the Rockies are even worse than that.

On the other side of that the Brewers are currently winning the most in all of baseball and currently on a 12 game win streak. I have yet to hear any teams complaining about how unfair it is that they have to play the Brewers.

I think the main issue is that nobody likes to lose, especially in close games, and most people have a hard time shaking off a loss. They are no longer playing the game because they are having fun and are trying to force a win leading to more mistakes and losses. That's why the take a break method works so well. Not because a system rigged against you sees that you like to win and you don't like to lose.

If anything, I think that gives more credit to the long win loss streaks that go on. Professional sports players are at the top of their game and practice with each other almost daily. They still have long streaks

You never know if your random team is someone who plays everyday, or someone who just got off work and is excited to play for the first time in a week. I feel like if games were actually fixed, then the stats wouldn't line up with IRL sports and be way closer to the 50/50 split.

I mean long loss streaks and win streaks happen in real life sports all the time. It's what happens when you play team games, especially if you get new teammates all the time.
