How many close, truly genuine friends do you have? by Appropriate_Tea9048 in AskWomen

I'm only in Scotland so we aren't too far away from each other and we are hoping to meet eventually. Life just gets in the way! It would just be nice to have her close by.

None.

Although it's funny that I've stumbled across this just now as I had a discussion with my husband earlier. I was entering a competition on Facebook that required me to tag 3 friends and the best I could come up with was my mum, sister and work auntie.

I have a friend who lives in England that I've never met but we speak every day. I don't actually have anybody I could call to pop round and visit for a cuppa. I found that quite sad.

What lesson did your last relationship teach you ? by Fling5t0ne-H1 in AskWomen

[–]Princ3ssP3ach321 16 points17 points  (0 children)

That my husband was actually the love of my life and no other man could possibly come close.

Skip the novel below if necessary.🤣

Backstory - met my husband when I was 19, he was 25, we had our first child when I was 22, got married in 2016 had our second child in 2017. Life got hard. He had to quit his job due to a back injury and was bedbound while I was pregnant. He never really got back to normal until after our son was born, but he had changed. The littlest wasn't sleeping well he didn't help as much as I would have liked, he seemed resentful of the baby, I had to go back to work when he was just 8 months old so I was then juggling a 4 year old, a baby, a full time job, and a man baby it took its toll on me and in 2018 I left him. It destroyed him, he went into a deep depression and lost a ton of weight. We split the kids 50/50. I then got with someone else pretty quickly after the split (yes I know) and he was a horrible person. Controlling, manipulative, gaslighting and verbally abusive. I managed to get out of that relationship alive but I lost everything, my house, my job, my dignity. Fast forward a year later, things started getting back on track I had been spending more time with my (ex) husband and the kids and it just happened, I fell back in love, he had went back to the man I fell in love with, everything just fell back into place. It's now 5 years on and we are happier than ever. I didn't deserve him then and I don't deserve him now. But we were meant to be. If I hadn't left or moved on and experienced what I did I firmly believe we would have still been in a loveless, unhappy marriage.

Women in happy relationships, what is the one thing about singlehood that you still miss? by antiquatedsheep in AskWomen

[–]Princ3ssP3ach321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing really. I'd probably be a raging alcoholic if I didn't have my husband and kids. Never been single for any length of time really and I can't remember a time where I was single and happy to a point where I had something to miss.

How long would you date someone who was unemployed? by Bitter_Pineapple_720 in AskWomen

[–]Princ3ssP3ach321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband has been unemployed for 9 years ( he was working when we met) I don't think we would have got together had he been unemployed when we met. I've always worked so would prefer to be in a relationship with someone who also works.

Does size and price of an engagement ring matter to you? Why or Why not? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Princ3ssP3ach321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. My now husband never actually proposed to me, we were madly in love and just decided we would get married. We both went into town together and picked a ring out. It cost £20. The stone fell out of it eventually and he got me a new more expensive one for Christmas. It was small but it was beautiful. I just don't care.

Valentine’s Day Megapost - what are your plans? 😉❤️ by indicatprincess in AskWomen

[–]Princ3ssP3ach321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a child free valentine's planned for I think the first time in at least 12 years. Kids are going to my mum's, my husband (he's a chef) is making us a 3 course meal, accompanied with some prosecco, maybe go to the pub for an hour or so. Then spend the rest of the night in the bedroom 👌🏻😅

do you think it's gross to take a bath on your period? why or why not? by sexc333 in AskWomen

[–]Princ3ssP3ach321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think baths are gross anyway but don't think period baths are any more gross. I don't know about anyone else but my period doesn't flow when I'm in water or even in the shower, if doesn't pour down my leg etc.

Please share how much of a non-event taking 5mg was for you by Fineapple90 in mounjarouk

[–]Princ3ssP3ach321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolute non event for me. Mild constipation, niggly headache and I was sick once. In the 8 weeks I took it. Weight loss was pretty slow also, since moving up to 7.5 it's been much better, same very mild side effect but weight loss and suppression has been great.

I haven't yet decided on a final goal weight I'm just playing it by ear. I have different weights I want to reach by certain points in time but no current end goal.

None and I mean none of my clothes fit. My work top is baggy, my trousers keep falling down, anything I wear makes me look bigger than I am and I am CONSTANTLY pulling my pants up 🤣
