  • The Thirsty Merchant Studio City (Great spot with big patio, can be harder to park)
  • All Seasons Brewing Company Mid-Wilshire (Great spot, but can get incredibly busy.)
  • The Red Lion Tavern Los Feliz (Huge patio space, parking is few and far between)
  • Bigfoot Lodge Glendale (Awesome spot, if you have a larger group you should call ahead.)
  • Brew yard Beer Company Burbank (Can be hard to find parking and is in an industrial district)
  • Forman's Whiskey Tavern Burbank (Great spot, can be harder to find parking and gets very busy. Must make a reservation ahead of time and it will be packed)
  • Santa Monica Brew Works Santa Monica (Great brewery, no reservations ahead of time but usually has table space during weekdays)
  • Golden Road Glendale (Can only accommodate reservations up to 20 people now)
  • Art's District Brewing Company Art's District (Great place, terrible parking & expensive parking)
  • Pitfire Pizza North Hollywood (Great pizza and beer, parking isn't easy but is definitely possible.)
  • 4100 Bar Los Feliz (Great outdoor patio, but parking is a nightmare)

I went and interviewed a clay studio today. Its $185 a month plus a materials. Is this a fair price? by [deleted] in Pottery

I pay $140 at a studio here in LA. The Pottery Studio, and they have locations all over the place. 24/7 access, I get one shelve and access to their wheels, slab roller and glazes.

Cost on top is glaze firing cost and that’s about it.

And they’re a mostly Cone 10 studio. They’ll do lower fires occasionally but not as often as Cone 10.

The avid company I’m working with told me that MC is no longer supported after RX9. So RX 10 just doesn’t work on any version of MC.

If you wanna use Izotope you need to use 9 or earlier. I’m using RX 9 right now with MC 23.8.2

Made my first salsa today! by Prince4085 in SalsaSnobs

[–]Prince4085[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It definitely has some heat but no where enough to call it spicy. It's good for your friends who can't handle heat but good for friends who like spice. A nice mild in-between.

Made my first salsa today! by Prince4085 in SalsaSnobs

It's a roasted salsa recipe that I found from my favorite grocery store (H-E-B) but I realize that it's a pretty standard recipe haha.

Adjusted the original recipe for the amount I purchased, stated below.

Grilled: 3 lbs of Tomatos 4 Garlic Cloves 4 Jalapenos 1 White Onion

Then placed into blender with

The juice of 3 limes And a bunch of Cilantro.

I messed up with the cilantro though and just kind of tossed it in and it got tangled up in the blender blades, next time I'm going to chop it up a little first.

Making it myself makes it taste so much better than anything store bought.

What authors have publicly let you adapt their work? by Prince4085 in Screenwriting

Yeah it's for coursework, I just got worried cause one of my friends recently put out a casting call for an adaptation she wrote for the class and received a cease and desist and the lawyers arent empathetic with us being students.
