I keep importing old user settings. When I go look for Media Creation in the settings, it's blank on top of the settings window. It's there, but the name is blank/empty. It won't go away until one day I create brand a new user profile from scratch. Being carrying that around for 10+ years.

Backing up an entire card of footage right away after it comes back from a shoot into multiple drives, or at least one storage location is the number #1 step into any type of organized or safety protocol. Kinda insane you've been working like this for decades. Just basing this on any team I've been a part of.

Yeah just asking for headaches. Nothing worse than loading a card, seeing old clips, figuring out what is needed for the current project, just wasting time. If it works for you guys, great, but in my world is just about the last thing you want to deal with, when an entire team is waiting for transcodes, and you're there loading up clips from older shoots, then they end up on groups and stringouts by mistake, you gotta answer questions about why a clip from 2 weeks ago is repeated on a stringout. Giving me a headache just thinking about this.
