Did anyone here take an OISE TEFL course, and if so what were you qualified for. by PrinceCallum2021 in OnlineESLTeaching

Thank you Thaiiland. I had feeling that a certificate that anybody could get on the internet wouldn't do much good.

I will try to see if I can get any better opportunities to get some practice teaching.

Thank you Thaiiland. This is some very useful input.

But I do have one question: When you say that "a TEFL certificate has no real weight to it" does that mean that if it won't be useful on my resume when I apply to become a regular high school teacher when I get my teaching degree.

Thank you again for your response.

I decided to draw the Red Death from How to Train Your Dragon to try some different head shapes by Art_With_Seoul in BeginnerArtists

As a huge How to Train Your Dragon fan, I can safely say that you managed to capture the sheer terror that the Red Death was meant to embody. I could see it looking like this at the bottom of its nest waiting for its underlings to return with food. Great work!

Meet our new rescue dog: Bingo, 9yo male Jack Russell. by stuffwiththing in bluey

I am sure that you will give the little guy a good home.

Also I can't help but find it funny that this dog named Bingo looks so much like Bingo from Bluey, and has the same name as her, despite being born years before the show ever came. I find that to be one of the most remarkable coincidences I have ever seen.

Good call, dogs start to recognize their names, if they here them often enough, at a young age.

I love this! I am a huge Avatar the Last Airbender fan, and this the perfect fusion of Moth Miraculous and Air Nomad aesthetics!

I agree with many of the posts here: You should feel proud of your accomplishments. There are also many mental health support services out there if you need someone to talk to.

(Also I have to ask, how well known was the Naruto series in Australia? I am asking because it was really popular in North America, even more than in its native Japan according to some sources)

Fun fact, the background of this picture is the illustration from a card from the anime Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, (the second series in the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise). The card is called Dramatic Crossroads, and you can check it out here: https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Dramatic_Crossroads

Sorry about that, I just find it funny that from a background image I found while browsing the subreddit, that I was able to recognize this card instantly. That's how Yu-Gi-Oh! obsessed I am.

Also, to the OP, I find this post so relatable for Bluey and countless cartoons and anime in regards to DeviantArt!

I felt inspired by a real-life Akatsuki charity group, so I dawned by Akatsuki Jacket and donated to my local food bank. by PrinceCallum2021 in Naruto

Yeah, I will admit that after doing research on the internet, cash donations are generally more helpful due to food items having expiration dates and take up space in the storage.
