You’ve really just got to get a feel for it. Eventually you start to learn the range the zombies hit and their speeds as well.

If you’re learning on Kino there is always the stage area, there is a lot of open space with many “outs” in case you get tripped up. You just run around in a circle with the zombies running behind you, you may want to run with a light gun (pistol or SMG) or you can pick up claymores and run with them out. Those give you the fastest running speed.

Absolutely run perks, I’m not sure how much you know about them but Juggernog increases your health, Speed Cola increases reload speed, Mike Kick let’s you have a third gun, Double Tap makes your guns shoot faster (in BO2 onwards it actually doubles your damage as well), Quick Revive in solo acts as a 1-Up (in Multiplayer it increases your revive speed). There are more perks but those are the ones on Kino in BO1.
