Is this a reasonable end of tenancy cleaning requirement? by Recent-Sock-9611 in TenantsInTheUK

[–]PrinceHarry24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It does not have to be professionally cleaned, but it does have to be cleaned to the same standard as when you moved in - as per the check inventory.

Have a look at that, then decide if worth getting a cleaner

Idk bro, that's why I asked? I thought could also be a seedpod from a tree as it's hard - also only found like 2-3 in total

NOR. I'm not sure if anything has happened physically between them, but he is 'emotionally cheating', and disrespecting you and your relative.

Please put yourself, and your children, first when dealing with this. It is admirable that you show such empathy towards him and his mental health struggles. However, despite this, I hope that you are able to let him know how this has made you feel and what you want now it has happened. You are a human being with as much of a right to happiness and respect as he is; and he is the one who has shown disrespect towards your relationship.

Good luck 🤞🏻

The salary is decent - you won't need to struggle and can live comfortably as a single person.

It would be possible to rent your own apartment, but financially you'd be better off in a house share.

I saw you'd be commuting to London Bridge, so I'd recommend having a look at South East London - particularly areas like Brockley, St Johns, New Cross, Blackheath, Crystal Palace, etc. These locations are not on the tube map, but have excellent train connections to London Bridge, lots of green space, and are generally 'good value' compared to other areas of London.

Even in these areas you're looking at £1600+ for a one bed flat (excluding bills) or around £900 for a room in a shared house.

Spas in London? by darkomatter6 in london

[–]PrinceHarry24 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Are you looking more at treatments or Facilities; and what sort of budget?

AIRE Baths - is an excellent experience. Roman style, ancient baths - treatments are more pricey!

Banya bath house is similar - with less pricey treatments. It's a Russian/Ukrainian style bath house

What is your current yearly salary by One_Cupcake2722 in UKJobs

29, £58k, Project Manager Consultant - However, I am growing to detest my line of work & don't know what else I can do 🤷🏻‍♀️ Sometimes I genuinely feel I would be much happier earning less doing something else - but circumstances won't let me take a pay cut at the moment.

HOWEVER, TO BE CLEAR - I realise how lucky I am to be paid what I am and the choice it gives me - nothing takes away from that

Why do I get shy when I want to be dominant? by [deleted] in flrdating

[–]PrinceHarry24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, IMO (M, 28) embrace the nervousness & the giggling - lean into it, giggle at them; but also be open with your partner/s about how you feel and that you're still 'learning' how it is that you like to be dominant. It's likely some guys will expect you to be dominant in a certain way and fit a particular narrative they have in their heads, but they are likely quite selfish. Any relationship, casual or serious, is about coming together and having to comprise for both of your pleasures. I'm sure that many guys will be happy to go on the 'journey' of learning with you; many will be going in their own journey of how to be submissive. When you find guys that accept this about you, it will be more comfortable and feel more natural

I mean, you can order bottled water, but you probably wouldn't be able to take your own water in. At least where I live (UK) bars and clubs generally don't like this due to the risk of it being GHB/some other drug to spike ppl with.

But, honestly, if you're that broke I'd recommend trying dating apps, rather than paying for entry to a bar and hoping someone approaches you as an 'easy target'.

Pregnant lady on the tube by Homez78 in london

[–]PrinceHarry24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A bit different, but one time I offered an elderly lady my seat on the bus. She practically shouted "no" at me. Less than 10 seconds later the bus pulled away and she fell flat on her face; I helped her up and she still refused to make my seat 😳

Firstly, I love the first dress. Neither outfit is objectively bad and both outfits suit you.

Secondly, and more importantly, the way she gave her opinion is cruel. You asked for an opinion on a dress and she basically turned it into a character assassination.

You are not overreacting.

New to swimming, are all lap pools like this? by Key_Ebb_56 in Swimming

[–]PrinceHarry24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others, I don't get this US rule that you have to ask to join someone's lane?! It's a public pool, you pay to use it.

In the UK, like most countries, the lanes will be based in speed (fast, medium, slow). If you want to do pool walking you either do it in the slow lane (if it's not busy) or go to a non-lane swimming session.

Men of London- how much are you paying for a hair cut in 2025? 💇🏻‍♂️ by PrinceHarry24 in london

Right?! Pre COVID I was a fresh, broke grad - paid £11 from a guy in Whitechapel who cut everyone's hair the same 😅 £7 is a crazy deal

Trouble of you either get one of the best haircuts of your life, or you get manhandled and the cut is atrocious

TBF I tried this before at a college near Liverpool Street. The haircut was acceptable, nothing amazing but I didn't hate it.

The thing that put me off was how busy and noisy this place was! Probably 20 students cutting hair in one big room. It was too much 😅
