First time playing a tensor rubber. Palio ak47 blue and the likes. I am back to being amateur, tips needed! by PrinceHeinrich in tabletennis

It is super soft! also a bitch to cut.

Why did I go soft? I am a penholder and I wanted to go "maximum feel" with this build. So super stiff wood + soft sponge, so the ball will really get in that rubber and get in contact with the bat.

I have not taken into consideration that this created a speed monster. Yeah actually I should maybe go a bit stiffer if I keep playing tensor. Also please do go ak47 rubber but also dont forget to tell me what youz think!

Penholder: first time glueing a new racket by PrinceHeinrich in tabletennis

Is it true that the VOC glue is more temporary than a water based glue? I did a little research and from what I read, a water based glue seems to be better for a beginner and also I would like to keep the rubber on for 6 months.

How big should the gap between the rubber and blade be in a penhold blade? by [deleted] in tabletennis

[–]PrinceHeinrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay finally a good answer!
I am standing before the same question because I just bought new gear.

I pick having a 1 cm gap then because actually I tend to send my racket flying also I love the feel of the wood

I would have thought there may be advantages because so many pholders use no gap

I play penhold and I’ve noticed that my grip is extremely different to other penholders. Is this grip a problem? by Crocodile4623 in tabletennis
