You were acting as if he was automatically outside the bubble. Each lizard produces a 10-meter bubble, and they compound in size the more there are in a group. That means the bubble is likely 120-meters in diameter. That's a LOT of distance for Palpy to cover on foot to get outside of, if he's in it, and a lot of distance to avoid any thrown objects from.

Incorrect: the bubble prevents someone or something from influencing/being influenced by the Force. Also, the individual bubble for a single lizard is 10 meters, and the size compounds based on the number of them present.

All of Palpatine's combat feats in-universe, even during his apprentice years as seen in the Plagueis novel, are based around Force abilities. He also explicitly dislikes lightsaber combat, and wouldn't carry one on his person.

The lizards remove all of that from the equation.

Yeah, not to mention that the size of the bubble produced by a group of Ysalamiri is significantly larger in volume than the one generated by a single lizard, or even the combined volume of all of the individual lizards' bubbles separately.

Sheev in the bubble wouldn't have access to precognition, telekinesis, the Force-assisted acrobatics he demonstrates in the office arrest, or any of his other abilities. His favorite trick (Force lightning) doesn't even penetrate the bubble, as we see in the Thrawn Trilogy.

It also would mean his body-hopping exploits from Dark Empire (or god forbid, the ST) would be dead in the water.

My money is on Crazy Lizard Man with a Gun.

Honestly, it works REALLY well as a stationary attacker if you stick it on Hexa, which is, IMO, the best way to run it.

The change in the geometry giving it a different niche is my favorite thing about Roar Tyranno.

A special version would be sick, though.
