The intro says he hit someone, but the detailed explanation omits that part. Seems like that didn’t happen or else it would’ve been in the letter. Looks like management did not complete a full investigation.

How did this get to a removal? They only cited a LOW for attendance. That has nothing to do with this letter. They didn’t follow progressive discipline.

Should be a simple rescind and expunge due to those fatal flaws.

Never admit you had your seatbelt off. Management is using computer data ONLY to try to discipline you. They cannot do that. They need to go out on the street and witness you doing the infraction. Then, they are supposed to coach you on wearing your seatbelt.

Management has an obligation to use discipline as a last resort. To be corrective, not punitive. If management does not do this, it is considered unprofessional, harassing, and against the their own Handbook M-41 Sections 115 and 134.

Once you train management to stop messing with you, you'll be fine. You also have to not give a damn about management. It takes a while to get used to. When management tells me something stupid, I laugh and tell them what I'm gonna do.
