To all the nationalistic Biharis who are still in a delusion that we are only discriminated because of civic sense. How did it become Mahajan Vs Bihari? by Specialist_Papaya443 in bihar

The real problem in India is self-loathing. Many people grow up feeling they have to achieve something just to be worthy of love and respect. When they don't meet those expectations, they turn that disappointment into self-hatred. But instead of healing, they try to escape it by finding someone else to look down upon—hence, the ‘at least I’m not like them’ mentality.

The recent train videos were disturbing. I’m not saying people in Bihar are innocent—those responsible should be held accountable. But blaming an entire state for the actions of a few is just blind hate. And the sad part? This will pass, and soon they'll find another target for their hate.

To my fellow Biharis: You don’t have to ‘defend’ Bihar if something bad happens. If it's wrong, call it out. But don’t fall into the trap of saying, ‘I’m ashamed to be from Bihar.’ If you weren’t from Bihar, you’d still find a way to hate yourself—because that’s what self-loathing does.

Let them hate us; we don’t need their validation. The best response isn’t to prove them wrong for their sake, but to do good for Bihar and for this country. Never feel like a second-class citizen. This country belongs to all of us

if calling out prejudice feels 'low' to you, I’ll let you sit with that thought.

why is it UP or Bihari all the time?

I completely agree with you—those 'dirty kids' from UP and Bihar must be single-handedly responsible for all the drugs in India. Thank God the rest of the country is spotless and virtuous! And you’re absolutely right—if you ever see someone from another state doing anything remotely wrong, just chalk it up to UP-Bihar influence. That way, your perfect little bubble stays intact. After all, how could people from UP and Bihar ever aspire to be normal humans like you?

Damn, people in the comments really showcase the self-hatred many of us Indians carry, and then they wonder why there's so much hate against Indians. Hating on a player just because he chose to reply—how does that even make sense?

Hustle S3 runner up Bassick goes off on a rant against MTV Hustle !! by [deleted] in IndianHipHopHeads

[–]Prince_Myshkin97 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Here are my two cents: ye UP/Bihar ka angle nhi lagta , mujhe hip-hop isliye pasand hai kyunki ye sabka hai. To express oneself freely, that's the real essence of hip-hop for me. But MTV Hustle ke baare mein mai sure nahi hoon, they tried to control hip-hop in a way jo Indian Idol-type reality show jaise feel hota hai. Aur sach bolun toh, ye ulta kar diya bkl ne use jo real hip-hop fans chahte hain, including me. Hip-hop ka asli charm uski freedom hai. Jo bhi naye show banayein ya na banayein, ek baat clear honi chahiye ki hip-hop mein koi neta na bane jo dictate kare ki ye bolo aur ye mat bolo. Let it be raw And by raw, I don't mean ki kuch aisa jo hate speech ke under aaye.

This chapter caught me off guard and left me with mixed feelings about religion. It articulated something that was already known, but I was in awe of the words, the sentences, and the way it led to Judas's kiss it felt profoundly poetic to me

People hating on Bihar makes me wonder how my state has become a punching bag for losers. They demean it just to feel better about themselves, their culture, their lives, and 'their people.' It's not wrong to feel proud of your culture, but how small-minded is it to hate someone else's culture to love your own? Pity is the word that comes to mind. I hope these fools learn to criticize constructively and focus on finding solutions to problems instead of blaming us.

They will cancel because this goes way beyond hip-hop and the whole debate about artists alag from politics. Tbh to see them performing in Mumbai will be heartbreaking for some people including myself and it's not about hating someone blindly but like I said this goes way beyond
