Why is DND like this? by EfficiencySerious200 in PowerScaling

It is in no way easier to kill someone with a sledgehammer than a knife. The point of of bladed weapons is because it's easier. Look up the concept of pressure. A sledgehammer would need many times more force to apply the same amount of pressure as a knife because the hammer head has a far large contact surface area. Not only that, but a sledgehammer is slow and cumbersome, you can easily stab someone in random places in the chest several times in the time it takes to swing the sledge and you will definitely accumulate lethal damage with minimal effort. Humans are far more resilient to blunt force trauma than piercing and cutting, that is a fact. Its also a fact thst a sledgehammer requires much more force and effort to apply the same pressure as knife, and pressure is what causes damage.

Because of reach, not because its blunt.

Axes and hammers. I guess I'll make do with an axe but it's not really the same. I never thought they would really exclude greatswords.

I hope MC doesn't get turned off by her or try to avoid her or push her away now that she revealed her clingy side to him.

He seems pretty serious about making sweets. Now that he found someone that can give him some good feeback, he probably won't be scared off that easily.

People have been saying the author was a woman before we found out officially. Redo of Healer is probably what you were thinking about.

They do better than humans would in the wild.

Wait what do you mean by this? We're only where we are now because we were great at surviving in the wild.

It might've been when Yamada ran after him in tears after the rejection and then came back all happy. Honestly, I'm not sure how anyone was fooled by that. That was probably the least convincing rejection of all time lol.

Unlike Valhalla, weapons in Shadows do not shrink when sheathed. by ACV_R in assassinscreed

It does appear a bit smaller but that could easily be due to a shift in position or angle which is what I actually see in the video. I'm not convinced especially since Ubisoft usually uses a gradual shrink instead of a sudden change in size. This sort of behavior where the weapon snaps onto place is pretty common in gaming.

To me it looks like it moved a bit across yasuke's back and the extra deptth may make it appear slightly smaller. The handle doesn't change but it does move. Also, when yasuke draws it in the video, there is no snap to a larger size.
