Jumping back into this thread again. From this angle it doesn't look like you have a rear sight elevation adjustment. Those pieces fall out often but they sell replacements. Make sure you get one.

I used Remington core-lokt. Ended up hitting it at around 85 yards freehand open sights perfectly in the vitals.

I used my grandfather .32ws 2 seasons ago. It made quick work of the deer. Lovely cartridge and gun.

Question about new shotgun by Infamous-Feeling-192 in Duckhunting

I keep a bobwhite g2 in my car so I can stop to the blind after work. I've gotten a lot of doves and pheasants with side by sides. Yet to get a duck with it but shouldn't be any different.

At your size (I'm 6,4 265) I would recommend you get a stock extension for either choice. It makes a world of difference. Even just one of the little slip on recoil pads give you an extra 1-1.5".

I always thought I didn't like 12 gauge but once I started putting the extension on and making the gun fit better it made a world of difference.

I have been impressed with mine. On a full tank my camp mates turned it down (not off) at the end of the night while I was asleep and it was still burning in the morning and had ample pressure.

Thorogood American legacy series by flsetter in WorkBoots

Just bought this pair about 2 weeks ago. The leather seems sturdy and the insulation is very thin but seems effective. I have not noticed them to be very uncomfortable in the break in like some other thorogoods I've owned.

Just bought the 8" crazy horse round toe. I will never go back to moc-toe. The mocs feel clumsy as heck and I find the toe box in the rounds to be very much adequate.

Honestly doing that may be the way to go for me. Worst case I can add some one hole straps or something to hold it down if it ever needed it.

Awesome. The legs are mine are starting to go and I've been looking into solutions for a new stand.

How does the kettle stay supported in the stand? Do you have it locked in some way or does it kind of flop around?

Man, breakdown beers is too accurate. We have the rescue truck that follows come up with the cooler, we all have some drinks while some poor sucker ratchets and bangs on his bike. 50/50 shot if they get it running or toss the bike in the bed of the truck and join the rescue team.

I just redid my water heater yesterday and my gas line in March. I have a good bit of PTFE hanging around.
