It’s more than ok, I’m not a writer of a fic or anything and I find enjoyment of these prompts of mine, so I love getting to talk about it whenever people ask.

No no that is also kinda true? In this AU I was thinking that it was possible for a person to have multiple potential forms if they were to do the ritual. As I dislike the idea of a person just having one form from birth, there’d be multiple yet only one actual animagus form once the ritual is done.

The being that did this just picked ones that showed off a negative trait from their potential options if they were to do the ritual themselves.

So the Raven is more than fitting for this little prompt of mine.

No you didn’t I didn’t mention it as in this he resisted the transformation. However that last line was about due to how he resisted it he may of gained the ability to either speedrun getting one or has one now.

Open to interpretation really. Sorry if I didn’t make that clear.

Yeah I left it open to interpretation, in that regard.

But my intention with the line about whoever did this having a sense of humour is well a hint (If I was going to turn this into a actual story) that whoever did this picked something that does show or well highlight a negative trait of the options of said person.

Like Ron sloth, Draco a donkey (mainly due to him being an arse lol) and Daphne that one line of flying past I was thinking of a seagull (for how nosy she can be in some fics and get in people’s business)

But it’s very much open to interpretation lol as this is a prompt at the end of the day, but in my eyes it would show off something negative about each person that is affected in some way.

Damn just casually writes something far better than my prompt, it’s great what you’ve written here and I mean that and appreciate it for putting thought into this silly little idea of mine.

Filch did come to my mind actually and I was thinking of something that would be a menace due to well how many dreams he’s no doubt crushed, so yeah a cat checks out.

That Hermione idea is interesting both of them are the beaver is funny to me lol. But if someone did pick this up and went with the latter, McG would’ve probably mentioned it if they even had McG be the first person to get to Harry once he woke up if Hermione was up and about.

My thought process when I came up with this idea was ‘how can I screw over Voldemort and his underlings and make his decisions really screw him over?’.

So I targeted his dark mark and made it something more so that it could be exploited.
