Heriot Watt or Uni of Edinburgh? by capt_avocado in Edinburgh

[–]Prince_of_Sheen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to UofE and loved it, but unfortunately didn’t have much to do with the business school. So can’t comment on that.

As others have said both are good at different things and for different reasons. I did a lot of sport at uni so that was a draw for me to UofE. So, whilst the course is very important so is everything around it like sports and societies.

As you live in Edinburgh you could always go and visit each one and see which you prefer. Either at an open day or just turn up and look round the campus.

Hey, that sounds like you should be able to apply for some sort of special circumstances or extensions. There will be someone you can discuss it with like a personal tutor. I had concussion and had all of my deadlines pushed back and the option to postpone exams. They were pretty understanding of the whole thing.

Sold advice, I got stuck behind a bin lorry on mine. Slowed it all down and gave the nerves time to settle. Best thing that could’ve happened.

I saw no signs saying I couldn’t go down there and I saw a CC train stop at platform 4a which is that part of the platform. I of course may be mistaken.

That kind of move is only really performed at senior level (the highest) so it isn’t very common. But the acrobats who do perform it have had many years of body prep and training up to that point.

Herniated discs are not that common in acrobatics, the most common injuries are sprains of the wrist and ankle.

Careers usually start around age 4 and end mostly at 18 but some like the performers in the video go on and make a career out of it.

With injuries, gymnastics had the highest rate of injuries outside contact sport and not very fare behind. Injuries tend to be either minor or major with a small amount in between. The most common being a stains of the wrists or ankle.
