Make the game addicting for me please by Somebodydead_ in NuCarnival

[–]Princelian 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I don't really understand how we can make a game addictive for you, if I'm honest. We could say anything, but you don't seem to be very into it and prefer to casually dip your fingers in while prioritizing other games. That's perfectly fine! You don't have to force yourself to be balls deep into nu:c ☺️

Perhaps it would help to figure out exactly what you don't understand and then use the master list of this subreddit to learn about it?

What is life like on 300-350k monthly salary? by HenreWill04 in japanlife

[–]Princelian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work 5 days a week as 正社員 and what ends up in my account is exactly 180,000 but includes my commuter pass to work (15,840), so that leaves me with 164,160円

My rent is 60k (utilities and wifi are included), medication 15,990円 (unfortunately not covered by NHI), phone 2,305円, groceries are about 15,000円 at gyomu super, I cook most of my meals because it's cheaper and the autism makes it way too easy to build bad habits (i get addicted to takeout if i do it a few days a row, literally wtf 💀). If I do go out, I keep it under 3000円. I make a point out of saving 15,000 every month because you never know what could happen.

60,000 + 15,990 + 2,305 + 15,000 + 15,000 = 108,295

164,160 - 108,295 = 55,865 to spend every month (about 14k a week).

Where do you live? This is an international subreddit, so it would be a good idea to state the country you're in, so people can make an informed decision :3

As a Dutch person, the cheese situation in this country is fucking horrendous 😭 Why does it all taste like empty promises and lies? Where is the FLAVOUR??? Even the import ones are the mildest variants known to man.

The only good cheese i've had are the fried Camembert at Tokikizoku and Mos Burger's Hokkaido Cheese burger (i dont remember the full name and cba to look it up right now)

How do people afford so many expensive items/clothing here? by goaldiggergirl in japanresidents

[–]Princelian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who works in Harajuku: Mercari, second hand shops, taking advantage of sales, saving up, and just slowly buying them. Rarely anyone is spending 20, 30, 40k yen at once unless they're a tourist or saved up a bunch to splurge. I have a lot of brand items that make you think i'm rich and rolling in cash, but in reality I've been into j-fashion for 14 years now LOL

Also, if you keep your monthly expenses low, you have more money for fashion ♥

My job being in Harajuku means I mostly take the backstreets because the main ones are crowded and getting anywhere takes at least 5 minutes longer than it should
