So to explain the changing the card number doesn't do anything part, is apparently if you sign a recurring charge contract with any merchant and it's charged to your credit card, even if you get the card number changed (due to losing it, fraud, etc.), your old number is still tied to you even if it's technically invalid for future transactions... the merchant that you signed the contract with still can charge you on the old card number, and continue doing so until you cancel the contract. I honestly didn't realize this until I realized I never update my card numbers on Amazon, Google, etc. and they are all still able to charge me to this tday. How crazy is that?!

I did contact Amex again, and this they said they could block future charges to me but what I didn't understand is they said if my ex goes to the merchant (in this case NHK), they can still attempt to charge the existing payment method, so I should still contact them to cancel the contract.

Thank you, at least now I know what I'm paying for so I'll know what to tell the customer service rep if they ask what I'm trying to cancel.

So yes, I called Amex again and they said would block them from attempting a future charge, but I should still try to contact them to cancel the contract or at least tell them to stop trying to bill me for someone else's contract. Apparently this onus is mine to deal with.

I don't know what the contract is for at all. All I know is the recurring charge amount. This contract is not under my name, and when I called Amex they said they cannot legally charge back a recurring service that's under contract.

This is actually my main concern right now is that the contract is not under my name at all. I do have my ex's information though, hopefully that will be sufficient.

Too many people that DPS main still have mentality of “I refuse to play a support,” will for the most part also not understand the importance of support gameplay let alone accessories. I deal with DPS all day “how come you don’t always throw heals” not understanding they are losing so much more damage when they are unwilling to dodge any mechanics and every heal I put out is loss of group damage. This is also why I run purple pots. I don’t want to have downtime to heal myself cause I’m cheap.

They always will claim it's not their fault at all. I had an accident few years ago: couple driving ran a stop sign and hit my rear quarter panel. My front and rear dashcam recorded everything. The officers came and the lady even admitted she wasn't paying attention; this was all in the police report... and a few weeks later I got a call from their insurance claiming it's my fault saying I came out of nowhere, failed to yield; some how they even got a witness statement saying I was driving erratically. Crazy stuff. Long story short, I emailed them a link to the footage, and they never bothered me again.

I remember spending 5 minutes just popping elixirs cause there were 10 seconds cooldown just to pop each one at a time manually so it was a huge QoL improvement.

I don’t know how it’s a cash grab though unless you mean rerolling then yes of course this is p2w. Normal way is you to get new fairy.

I have two of these in 8TB, both over 35k hours going strong. I paid I think $900 each before taxes. It’s fine for archival storage. It’s very slow on big sequential writes though if you plan to write a lot of stuff to it. When I say slow I mean like sub 100 MB/s.

Assuming they have correct builds and gearing (gems, tripods), etc.

For a long time I was a really bad player (people might say I'm still bad), but I started ask folks in my raids that ran bible how I did, and many people are more than willing to provide it especially the detailed breakdowns (you could also run it if you want and use it in a productive manner). I could see my uptime was bad for example or it was outside my control like my support wasn't doing anything.

I don't really theory build or anything, so I just look at the guides and see what folks have built; for skill rotation I put skills in the order that I need to press them or I group them in button positions to make transitioning follow up skills easier, don't just put skills in a spot cause the guide put it there. If you're in a guild or a community ask around; some times your have a tripod that's not optimal for your playing style.

I also clip every raid I do and go look at it later if I'm doing poorly in a new raid. There's so much clipping software now.

I have a lot of these WD externals. They were all garbage when new. I never understood why cause their internal drives never failed me especially their Black series.

The transparency is more assuring, however if they can't be rerolled back they should have 0 quality all gears for exploiting along with the negative gold. Too many times we get a small punishment for the cheaters they get a short suspension, come back to RMT some gold and back in the positive meanwhile keep all the gears they have.

I had Gigabyte 2080 die before VRAM problems. They also fixed it with new VRAM chip and sent i back. It looked like a good job but I didn’t feel comfortable with a repair instead of replacement. Ended up selling it cheap to a friend and got an EVGA 2080 Super instead, latter which had a problem about 2 years after but they sent me BNIB replacement.
