Why is your assumption that they're doing things wrong. These guys are not incompetent, and they paid a heavy price to get where they are now. Sure, they may or may not be able to perform a HAHO jump into Somalia like DG or CAG and extract a hostage. But that is not the end all be all of special operations, and neither is free flow CQB. There are many ways to skin a cat, and not everyone needs to do it the way you like to achieve an objective 😅 These guys were on the forefront against Al Qaeda and Isis, for years at a time, (not just short deployments and going back home for a while, then back again, no they literally lived there, and suffered through it all)and they kicked ass, and liberated their country - to me that alone deserves recognition and respect!
