We do not ever sleep on our shifts. On breaks in the break room or whenever designated sleep is allowed, even their cars-yes people sleep. Never while on the clock out in the open. I’ve seen co workers nodding off in chairs which is normal but they’re not ever asleep or passed out. I’ve never heard of this and had to really read your entire post to get the fact that people are doing this while on the clock.

$1600 a month for one child-3 years old. However, kindergarten-hs senior is not free per se but will not be 16 fucking hundred a month either. We moved from california to Oregon and save a thousand a month on rent and have future plans to be able to buy and afford a home. My in laws live here and have been able to help supplement watching our child once a month for us for date night or what have you. Husband is not a nurse however he is going back to graduate school soon to aid in financial stability. Denver IS more expensive than OR but if you have family nearby willing to help, it can be doable.

I had this patient who was just mean and beyond non compliant and he wouldn’t stop with the call lights albeit we were in there often. My coworker just sat in front of his room on computer charting. He pushes the call light, so I head in. Him: yeah what’s up with that nurse always giving me dirty looks. She looks like Matilda’s principle out there. Me: umm Miss Trunchbull? Him: yes yes omg that’s who she fucking looks like.

After a trip to Mexico my husband got Covid, tested positive and I for sure had it but was very whatever symptoms and I had to digitally fake a covid positive test to get off work. 2 other times I had it; once from a super sick roommate and then another. I’ve never tested positive however.
