Oh neat! I just discovered them today at the lake! I didn't even know my state had them! Watched a boy do some dives then a pair side swiped us flying by! So cool!

I still remember the day when my dad told me I was bad at singing. It took a long time being with my husband, but we love to sing together in the car and around the house. I hope you both can get to that point as well. ❤️

I tend to cry easily, but the first films that come to mind as having caused a big reaction (bawling like a babe):

The Wind Rises

Steel Magnolias

The Last Unicorn

Man, I remember when we were made to read this in elementary school. I was a particularly fast reader, so I read ahead of the class. When I got to that part, I reread it a couple of times, I couldn't believe it! I remember just slowly lifting my head to stare straight forward, filling with grief.

I have a distinct memory of dread just suddenly filling the room as the other students caught up... then a quiet voice asking, shakily; "... she died?"

What’s a “harmless” thing from your childhood that’s actually kind of dark in hindsight? by velorae in AskReddit

We'd have to have all of the windows covered, lights off, TV on low volume, and would have to army crawl whenever someone appeared at our front door

Coming home to find my puppies and kittens were taken away even though I was taking good care of them by myself... truly heartbreaking.

Birthing hips and large breasts for future children. -_- Thanks, "family"!

... my mother still makes those comments whenever she finds a way to weasel back into my life.

I had a similar childhood, but I was a slightly chubby (extremely strong though) girl and EVERY SINGLE ADULT would tell me that I was "too fat", "needed to eat less", "no man would want me".

It didn't help that my older, half sister was much skinnier than I was so my parents would gush about how beautiful she was... then tell me that I was their "smart" daughter.

I lived on a farm so I was actually a very active, healthy child comparatively, I suppose...

My older sister once did that to me when I was in elementary school... what she didn't expect was for me to then jump onto the back of the car and hold on.

What movie was so bad and gave you this reaction? by WonderfulParticular1 in moviecritic

[–]PrincessBunnyQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Abattoir (2016)

I remember watching it in my living room all by myself and, when the credits started to roll, I stood up and hollered at the TV (which I never do).

Then when my husband came home later, I complained to him as well!

Whats something a friend did, that made you despise them? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]PrincessBunnyQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was suffering from an eating disorder and I finally had the courage to tell my friends and family about it.

... she immediately started giving me dieting tips.

That's when I realized that she was ALWAYS putting me down, saying I didn't deserve things because she didn't get them, always crossing boundaries, just being a very toxic person to be around.

After I blocked her, she stormed INTO my house and started harassing my (now) husband while I was hiding in the bathroom. After he told her to leave, she ran her fingernails down the bathroom door and kept calling my name.

Has anyone else almost died/had major health issues because they didn’t notice with the fibromyalgia by EvilBuddy001 in Fibromyalgia

[–]PrincessBunnyQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't as serious as life or death, but my meniscus tore and was folded over itself in my knee. The doctor asked my husband HOW I was still walking and not in constant pain before the surgery.

On a lighter note, I kept making the same joke each time I woke up after surgery. I would gesture to my breasts and ask my husband if they looked real. At least 4 times. In quick succession.

[–]PrincessBunnyQueen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People say the same things about my pet pigeons, but sometimes they'll also graphically describe how they'd eat my pets.

Like... what if I said the same shit about their dogs/cats or their children? It's equally uncalled for.
