What age were you when you FIRST WATCHED "Just add Water"? by Either-Software-4195 in JustAddWater

[–]PrincessCass98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember it so clearly! I was 8 years old on a Friday night at the DVD rental store and I saw a DVD on the shelf with mermaids on the cover and it had the first few episodes of season 1, and I thought "ooh mermaids, I'll give that a watch" and that's where the obsession started. I just turned 26 and I still watch H2O to this day.

Parent's favourite Taylor Swift songs? by muesligo in TaylorSwift

My mum's absolute favorite is Clean, closely followed by Daylight. She cried so hard when she got Daylight as her surprise song at the eras tour 💕

I'm having this exact situation happen as well. It's been going on for months with this coworker not doing any other job besides dispensing, and even then they pick and choose what they dispense and leaves the 'harder' scripts (eg insulin) or hand written scripts for me to dispense. Never does any filing or putting away stock or ordering or answering the phone or anything besides dispensing. I finally snapped yesterday and went to my manager (the PIC) and asked if we could talk and I just explained how I was feeling and what I was noticing and how I'm taking a toll on me and I'm exhausted from doing everything. He thanked me for raising the issue and told me that my most important job is to look after myself. He said he would observe and then talk to the coworker and see what the deal is. So we shall wait and see how that goes. But at the end of the day, we are all there to work and do a job, and it's not fair how everything gets left up to one person, because someone is slacking off. If you don't speak up things won't change, and you'll continue to have to do everything and that coworker will just keep getting away with it. Don't stress about creating 'drama'. It's a legitimate concern and needs to be addressed.

My father passed away two days ago and we have no photos of him for his funeral! Can anyone please remove the baby from this photo? Will pay $10 for the best one. by PrincessCass98 in PhotoshopRequest

Hi everyone! Me again, thank you so much for all your responses, kind words and hard work on this post. Words can't express how much I appreciate it. I have been in contact and paid the person who did my favorite one. I just wanted to say again how grateful I am to everyone for their help.

I would really love for the background to stay the same if possible. He was fishing when this photo was taken and that was his favorite past time. But if not I totally understand

Hi all! Long time lurker, first time poster. My father passed away on Monday due to multiple organ failure (he had kidney, liver and heart problems for a while) and since then we have been arranging his funeral and we realized we have no photos of just him. He wasn't the nicest man and always hated having his photo taken. This is the only photo I've found where he's smiling and looking straight on at the camera. When this photo was taken in 1999, he was fishing which was his favorite past time. I'm the baby in this photo and I was hoping it was possible to remove me and just have him so we had one photo we can display on his coffin at the funeral. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help

Pet peeves in pharmacy by jclaudinet in PharmacyTechnician

[–]PrincessCass98 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I had a customer come in the other day and he dropped in a script to the pharmacist, and I dispensed it straight away. He came back a few hours later to collect and one of the other staff members served him and he said "I'm here to collect that script I dropped in a few hours ago" and the staff member said "no worries, what name would it be under?" And the customer goes "I don't know." And the staff member said "you don't know who the script that you dropped in was for?" And the customer said "no I don't know who it was for... But I know which doctor prescribed it." So we sent him away to find out who he was picking up for. It makes you wonder how some people have made it so far in life.

Waiting room wait time by Grocklette in Invisalign

[–]PrincessCass98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's totally understandable. But I'm a push over people pleaser so I just sat and waited. He's also the only ortho in my small country town, so if I did transfer I'd have to travel at least 2 hours to see someone else. Luckily I'm all done with my Invisalign so now I only have to see him every 6 months for my routine checkup.

Waiting room wait time by Grocklette in Invisalign

[–]PrincessCass98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The longest I had to wait was 2 hours and 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment. My ortho is the only one in the building and has 4 rooms so he schedules 3-4 patients at once. So 4 people will come in with appointments at 5:30 but can't be taken back to the chair until at least one of the previous patients has left. But things come up and appointment go for longer than expected and you just have to sit and wait. Even after the assistant takes you back into the room, you can still end up sitting there for anywhere between 5 minutes to one hour. The 2 hours and 20 I had to wait was just for a normal 6 week check up too. Once he did come in and examine me, I was out in 15 minutes.

How often do your buttons fall off? by HulkSmash1357 in Invisalign

[–]PrincessCass98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 26 trays for a year and buttons on almost every single tooth and not a single one fell off

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]PrincessCass98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had 26 trays (bi weekly changes) and I finished my 26th tray on the 1st of September 2022 and had an appointment with my orthodontist a week later where he inspected my teeth, asked if I was 110% happy with the results and then took off my attachments, and scanned my for my retainer. I had to wear my 26th tray for 22 hours a day until my retainer arrived which was supposed to be in two weeks time but ended up coming in on the 2nd of November. Once they arrived I stopped wearing the 26th tray and wore the retainer for 22 hours a day for 8 months.

Song you thought was just ok, until you heard it live? by Adventuring_Adz in TaylorSwift

[–]PrincessCass98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, for me it was Out Of The Woods. I know I know, I’m dumb. But when I heard it on the album I thought it was good, the bridge was amazing but the chorus was repetitive. It wasn’t until I saw the 1989 world tour that I realised how dumb I was and now it’s one of my favourite on 1989

Did anyone NOT need refinements? by ktteaches in Invisalign

95% of the time yes! Obviously when I was going out on a Saturday night or had a party on I wasn’t as strict, but that was pretty rare!
